1.) Don't bring OOC (out of character, meaning you're the player) issues IC (in character, meaning the person you are pretending to be). Got a problem OOC then kept it there. Also, do not make OOC posts in IC threads. If you have something you want to say OOC, say it in PM’s, IM’s, E-mail, or the OOC Boards. Not in IC boards! Any such posts may be deleted and if it persists... The user might be banned.

2.) If anyone has a problem with another member of the forum, you talk to him/her personally instead of coming to the administration about it.

3.) If you are going to enter an active RP, make sure you read ALL of the previous posts in there; or at least all of the most current ones. Posts will be removed if they are too far off subject or completely wrong. If you can't post on subject, then post somewhere else!

4.) We have no word censors, but that is not an open invitation to use profane words. It is against PHP.BB Rules to allow cursing on forums. However, I trust you to be adult enough not to cuss every other word. Other admins and I will monitor posts for profanity and will edit any that are too offensive. You will get three warnings about language before your character is completely removed from play, which may mean banning you from our site.

5.) Consolidate your character posts. If you are in more then one area actively posting, then something is wrong. (Unless you have warned the people, you are RPing with. Or your character has some power that lets you be in multiple places at once) This is not illegal but is not recommended. Please keep your character in as few IC areas as possible. There is no reason for you to be in ten areas at the same time.

6.) Please use PARA RP. This is a T1 Para based forum, so please post as such. This means DO NOT make a one lined post (Unless you have to). Instead, all posts should be at least 3 to 4 lines in length. However, it is not always possible to say 'no' in a three-paragraph format, nor would there be a reason to make a post that long, for that little .

7.) (This is a big one) If it isn’t listed, you can not do it . . . Saying your sword is magic does not count as listing what it does. So just because it's magic doesn’t mean it can cut through buildings. If you don’t say what it can do then it can't do anything. You have to at least hint well enough that there will not be any confusion over its' powers. You don’t have to tell everything it can do to the public. But if an admin says 'no' then it can't do it. (And if an admin rules it was illegal during combat you must adhere to their rulings)

8.) No Cybering on forum. If you are going to do any form of sexual RP then take it to IM or PM. There are minors on the board as well. I know you may not agree with me but it is already something against the PHP.BB rules.

9.) No God Moding! If you don’t know what that means then you may have a problem. This rule is only being listed because it seems if no one brings it up you all feel free to do anything.

10.) Combat will only be considered sparring unless permission from an Admin has been received for a Death Match. And only in a Death Match are you allowed to kill off another person’s character. No, that does not mean we will ask you if you mind if it happens. The Admins will talk it over and make a call. Anyone can ask for a Death match against ANYONE else, the more information you provide as to why there's a battle, the better your chances are. But if the Death Match is denied then you will be required to leave your foe alive or be punished yourself and your final post edited by the administration in the way they see best fit if you tried posting their death.

11.) No off forum stupidity. We don’t mind bringing off forum plots, but concepts like “Forum Raiding” or trying to kill off players so you can take their “positions of power”(Either IC OR OOC powers, like forum admin rights, or status as emperor) will not be tolerated, nor will attacks on our members. If it is proven to a point above reasonable doubt to forum administration that that is your goal, then you will have your account removed and possibly IP banned. We are running a forum for our players' plots -- yes -- but we have ZERO tolerance for those outdated or stupid concept. We are not going to be a host site to be used for you to ruin our fun.

12.) We do not allow the advertising of other forums on this site without direct Admin approval. We will provide links to any forum we are allied with on our site (generally including in the alliance threads unless under special circumstances where they get a category) If you wish to seek an alliance please either post it in our alliance thread, or contact either Cirdan Carinsor, or Lyo Shadow Whistle.


13.) Character Information Sheet Rule: No linking to other forums or other sites to post a Character Information Sheet. Yes, we are aware we have a post length maximum. Nevertheless, because of how we review, and track character information it must be posted on OUR site to be considered a valid character sheet. If your sheet is too long then break it up into multiple posts. We are sorry if you feel its an inconvenience, but it is so that we can track edits to character sheets to cut back on that elusive online God-Modding problem.
