| Lyo had teleported into the glum and dimly light halls of the Dark Brotherhood Guild, a secret staging point of many immoral attacks on the surface city as of late. But due to its up standing reputation they were so far.. Unsuspected by authorities. They had even been contracted by the city guard to investigate several of the strange attacks that had gone on recently..
Patiently Lyo waited in the main reception hall of the guild, the only room none members could get into and the first room of the guild house. Around him were reinforced walls, magic dampening spells and several other trusted men that currently sat drinking and or sharpening weapons while they waited for their own personal assignments. Yes soon they would begin s sewing the seeds of discontent.. all they needed now was their patsy… Prince Dircan Carnisor.A mage in the room was busying himself with a scrying orb to keep tabs on Dircan, and to await the perfect moment to snatch him from the royal guards so that they would be able to more easily woo him to their side to further their plans Now all they had to do was Await for Dresden to bring the stolen goods, and then for the guards to attack the poor prince_________________ Suicide is like telling god " You cant fire me! | Dresden had quickly made it through the city without any problem, but it would have been a different story if it wasn’t for his chains. Thankfully they did all the heavy lifting while the only thing Dresden had to do was run with the goods. Finally reaching the entrance of the guild, he would carefully allow his chains to place the cargo within the entrance of the guild hall, but him self would Making it into the guild hall he would carry the cargo to where Lyo had instructed him to. Moving down the great halls of the guy, he would come to the reception hall. Placing the cargo against the wall, as he made his way into the room where Lyo his chains would disappear and return to the energy they were made from. Leaning against a nearby wall he would wait until Lyo saw him before he spoke “The cargo is here.”, Was all he said, as he watches those around him drinking and sharpening their weapons? |

| It would seem that Jin has caught a lucky break. Following behind the chain linked oaf without him even knowing all the way to his hideout. Jin would watch as the man moved into the building, and he silently followed. He was a ninja/shinobi/assassin. If there was one thing he could do, it would be to move without sound. As Jin crept towards the building, he could hear laughter, clanking of glass drinks, and a few screeches of blades being sharpened. He moved towards the doorway, and peered inwards. Seemed one man standing in the middle of the room, ordered the man that Jin was following further into the building, His acute hearing would serve him well in hearing the orders to drop it further inside. There were also other people inside of the building. But that man seemed to be the one with the plan, the boss, if you will. Jin’s head would pull back away from the doorway. An inaudible sigh would escape Jin’s lips. “ No real easy way of going about this.. Might as well make a direct approach. “ He thought to himself. Jin thought of a few ways of explaining his actions, or motives for doing this, they all seemed worthy in his head. Which had been scarred over and over again with memory erasings. Jin stood and turned the corner and strode inside the doorway, only to stand a foot inwards. His entrance wasn’t threatening in any way. It actually seemed pretty casual. Jin’s eyes focused on the strangely tattoo’d man before he spoke. “ Excuse me, may I have a word with you? “ His arms hung loosely next to his body. His body showed no real emotion. Other then just standing nonchalantly in the doorway. In Jin’s head, there are three possibilities of this going down. One, The tatoo’d man and him are going to have a conversation. Two, fighting. Three. A piano falling on his head. Oh such horrible scarring. |

| Lyo was sitting back gently and had just been handed a chilled bottle of Dark green wine by a slave girl when Dresden arrived, and with a smile Lyo waved him in while popping the cork towards the front door and then poured himself some of the green liquid into a waiting silver goblet. Nearly instantly, the goblet frosted over and chilled, but then again this WAS Northern Ice-wine, so that was an expected reaction.
“Come sit Dresden. Have a drink with me while we await our chances for the next incursions.”
No sooner had Lyo poured the second glass then he felt a new mind entering the guild hall. But at first there was no reaction, instead with his keener hearing. We expertly trained senses form living in the under dark he listened to the nearly silent footfalls on the dusty ground. Who ever it was, was VERY well trained, but not by the Drow, nor did he have an elf’s grace with motion… However even though Lyo could hear him it was VERY unlikely that Dresden would, and so far none of the other men in the room were at all the wiser to this new intruder.
With no concern for a man just appearing, and speaking Lyo took a drink from his goblet and let out a fogged breath that sunk in the warm air and dissipated before hitting his lap. His first reaction was an inaudible sigh at Dresden’s more then likely having been followed…. Oh, well with all that cargo it was unavoidable for SOMEONE to have noticed.
The rooms other occupants however, reacted in a manner much like one would assume coming when entering a secret lair… They jumped up drew swords and or readied bows or throwing knives.. and had Lyo not spoken so plainly no doubt a giant Jin killing rumble would have started. But the guild leaders calm voice carried easily through the room and quickly all the guards relaxed. But kept at the ready just in case.
“Yes please enter” His accent was there.. but its origins would be hard to figure out since his people died out five hundred years ago. “Join me, have a drink, and explain your reason for intruding mortal”_________________ Suicide is like telling god " You cant fire me! I QUIT ! ! " |

| His eyes glance toward Lyo as he motioned for him to come in, in which Dresden did. He silently moved to an empty chair and took a seat. He could feel it others was watching he, most likely wondering why a mere kid would be associated with their guild master. It didn’t bother Dresden that much, but he still didn’t like the fact that others were staring at him. Smirking at the comment that Lyo had made he would speak in his normal calm voice “Very well, considering that I’m a kid. I won’t drink that much.” He said in a jokingly manner. He knew very well that Lyo knew what he was, a Chain Devil a former servant of the Dark Lord him self. His digits wrapped around the glass and took a sip of it. It was different to him, it tasted strange at first but that did last long. It was actually very good. Hearing another man speak and the others around him get up and took out their weapons, Dresden eyes would look in the direction of the man who spoke. No he didn’t realized that he was followed then again he did had to carry all those cargo and stuff, thus his attention was on that. Taking a another drip for the glass he will watch quietly to see what will happen next.. |

| His eyes were focused on the leader of this place. He first thought that the second option was going to happen when all of his goons rose out of their seats. That made a weak smile spread onto Jin’s lips. It remained there even after the leader quieted down his lackies. In Jin’s head he had his thought process working like he trained it to. He used his energy reading to read all of the energies in the building, all of the people in the building, or the ones visible. Only three stood out to him. The one that he was following, the leader, and the building itself. It seems that the building worsens magic spells. The one that he was following had a very different energy reading on the inside of his body. Something he hasn’t seen before. Jin figured it must have something to do with his chains. And the leader had a even more different energy reading. Jin heard what the main said, gave a slight nod to his head and started his walk inside of the building. He approached the leader, grabbing a empty seat on his way towards the man from the doorway. He lifted it up and stopped a few feet away, turned the chair to face the man and spoke, “ I’m going to remove my sword so I can sit comfortably. Don’t be alarmed. “ Jin then grabbed the scabbard of his chokuto that’s resting between the sash wrapped around him and his lower back. He placed it upon his lap as he sat down into a straight posture. All the while Jin is doing this, he would have the look of not paying attention to his surroundings about him. Or the fact he walked into the building of possibly the deadliest group Tallendon knows didn‘t bother him. But in reality. He would be very carefully watching everyone in the area. Noting everything he could about anyone. His eyes fixated back onto the leader’s eyes. “ I do apologize for barging in like this… It is most certainly not my style of entry… “ Jin paused for a moment. Then continued. “ .. Onto who I am, why I’m here, and why you should care. You may call me Jin Shiro. “ He gave a slight nod, introducing himself. “ I am on a personal quest to find and locate any and all creatures that represent the dragon kin and their kind. And eliminate them. I do hope none of you are affiliated with any of these foul beasts.. “ Jin paused for another moment, then continued again. “ I poses certain skills and abilities that would greatly benefit you. I would be willing to join your faction if you would help me locate any of these creatures or anyone that knows where they would be located… I know this might sound asinine. But I assure you it isn’t. I have one of the greatest detests for the filthy beasts. I am also willing to prove that I will be loyal to your faction. “ Jin turned his head towards the one with the chains and blinked. Then continued his stare back at the leader. “ If you are not interested, I will take myself elsewhere and leave you be. “ Hopefully his involvement with this group will help him locate some of the dragons he’s heard tales of around here. So he can sever the head from it’s hideous scaly body. |

| Lyo watched him enter and smirked at him as he warned about removing his sword. By now everyone had gone back to doing whatever it was they had been doing and were ignoring this man near completely, sure a few still took stares and were paranoid, but most didn’t care.. Once it was in Lyo’s hands it was a dealt with issue, after all it wasn’t like whoever he was could kill the guild master right?
“I almost never worry young one, and I am just as rarely, alarmed.”
Lyo spoke plainly, and his tone showed honestly not arrogance or cockiness at all. This elf was indeed older than he looked, but most were, and was wiser then the teenage frame he bore “Very well Jin. Proceed” Lyo listened intently, but was still using his powers to make certain there were no others sneaking in , or trying to use this as a distraction or tactical advantage.
“Most posses some form of skill or another I can use. But a dragon stalker is a rare gift indeed… Very well I can tell you truthfully that we will need your sword eventually for the very purpose you would be most delighted to draw it. But until then we have other goals and trials to accomplish and move through before the Wyrm will become a major threat or target.. For now, we have other lesser objectives around the city first.”
Lyo then as stated poured a drink for Jin if he would have it and moved the glass through the air using he power of telekinesis to do so. Once it was in Jin’s hands he lifted his own and took a sip of the enchanted ice-wine before speaking. Again a low frost on his lips left a cloud of cold air to travel forth form him gently.
“Before you join with us I think a test of skill is sadly in order, I do not mean to say you are not as good as you claim, but words are not as powerful as actions. That in mind I think I have a job for you, and Dresden here “He motion to the other at the table “shall go with you to verify your claims as truth… it is simple do not fret, and should not require much hard work. I need you t track down a Vagrant by the name of Kentise, and convince him either through pay, or through beating him near death if needed to join us.”
Lyo smiled and placed a large bag of gems on the table in easy reach of Jin and then smiled lightly “What ever of that you don’t spend on his is yours to keep, plus some incentive pay that will be given to you once you return here with said man. just remember not to maim him, I cant use a swordsman that cant fight. He doesnt have to be willing, just able…. I can MAKE him willing.. “_________________ Suicide is like telling god " You cant fire me! I QUIT ! ! " |

| There the boy sat ever so quiet allowing the words of the newcomer fill his ears. A smirk spread across his young face as he heard Jin talk about, slaying dragons. So he was a dragon slayer, how cute and yet very interesting. Never had Dresden came across a self-proclaim dragon slayer, this is turning out to be an interesting day in deed. Taking another sip of the wine he listen to the conversation between the guild master and the newcomer. It would seem that he wanted to be apart of the guild, but one must wonder, was it just for the chance to kill dragons? Or does he has an ultimate goal in mine? Can he be trusted or his he trying to manipulate this guild for his benefits? These thoughts rushed through his mind, but they quickly was put to the side as it was none of Dresden’s concern. His eyes look towards Lyo as he heard his name being called. Finishing off the wine he would sigh letting a cold fog rolled off his lips. So Lyo wanted Dresden to be like an observer of Jin when he tries to take out Kentise. This might be interesting it will give Dresden a chance to see what Jin is all about. Standing up slowly, extending his arms upward he would stretch “Will I have to get my hands dirty?”, he said in a joking manner. Walking over towards Jin, he outstretch his right hand in a handshake gesture “The name is Dresden.” He is a boy of few words and this wasn’t an exception. |
