PostSubject: NO YOU CAN'T DIE!   Tue Sep 22, 2009 7:32 pm

The sun slowly peaked from behind the horizon made for a wonderful scenery this morning, but there was something different about this morning that would shake up this kingdom and a certain person in it forever. On a dirt road that leads to the clinic a black cloaked figured, slowly etched its way toward the place of familiarity. Each step the figure took caused his muscles to ache even more, how he wanted to stop but couldn’t because he knew she would be there. But who is she you ask? Well you just have to wait and find out. Minutes would pass by as this figure walked toward the clinic, what was once just an annoying pain had turned into a death like pain. His eyes diverted toward those who passed him by, most in which tried to stay as far away from him as possible. Like if he was a diseased person or something.

Finally after what seems like an eternity he reached the doorsteps of the clinic. Dust and debris fell from his cloak as a right tan hand reach for the door to knock upon it. But right before he could knock, he would scream in pain “Ack.!” was all he said, as he clenched his chest? Everything around him began to spin and get all blurry as suddenly he fell unconscious. As the limp body fell, the hooded part of the cloak would come off to reveal the man’s features. It was no other then Nox the lover Rosaria but he didn’t resemble his former self. His once short hair was now long and came to the center of his back, his face had more of a stern look upon it and if it was even possible it saw like it was chisel out of marble. Descending to the hard ground below his head clip the doorknob easily breaking it and busting his head open. Blood oozed from the wound on his head as the ground drinks of the crimson liquid.

Almost three years had passed since the unexpected emergency that he had to deal with among his kingdoms. The reporter came to him and Rosaria on the day they were going to depart for the kingdom. Vampric raiders had attacked the kingdom and had his mother hostage. He left that day to save his kingdom but he wasn’t prepared for what he would be seen. Those from his past were behind the attack. For two years he waged war again the numerous vampires until he had to do something that had to be done. He would become their hostages for his mother’s freedom. The vampric lord couldn’t help be to agree to those terms, since he would get his favor test subject back. Months pasted as Nox was torturer pass the breaking point and beyond he accepted it willingly for there was a secret that he had. After his mother was, freed word was sent out to prepare for a massive counter attack and thus it was commenced. And finally the day he dreamed and hope for came the army crushed the vampric raiders for good and Nox finally got revenge on the lord, gutted like a fish.

After the war he left his kingdom no wanting to stay there no longer for he was missing his lover, that if she still remembers him. So the journey back to Tallendon began. Now he lay on the ground in front of the clinic, in critical condition. Beside his limp body was something that seems out of place. It was a journal. On the journal it had the words “Never forgetting her.” Within this tattered book was Nox’s writing keeping account of everything that had happen to him. And for how much he missed her and carved for her. In the last page of the book there was his will just in case he wouldn’t have made it.

It was three years of near hell for Rosaria. It felt like once more her heart was torn out by a man she loved more than the world. At first, it started out as worried emotions and she wasn’t going to hold him back from saving his mother and the Kingdom that was his. Somewhere within the confines of her heart, she knew that there wasn’t really going to be any word, from at least his hand, but she hoped by someone close by that there would be. Saying that he is okay. Nothing. After a month and a half, that worried emotion became one of being scared. Nightmares filling her head of his death and that the enemies knowing of her existence, would come for her. Depression running deep within her veins, she refused to eat, but enough to keep some a mount of strength up. The clinic started to lose it’s luster and things started to collect dust where before, she would clean and keep things immaculate.

Within a daze all the time, she started to break off from the rest of the town. She felt dead as that was about the length of time that Kado had left her to tend to his village only to never return. Thoughts of suicide and even for the fact that maybe she had a curse. To love but to never make it to the alter. To never wed and only be in pain emotionally. She would spend hours wondering the town and even outside the town only to collapse and either be brought to the clinic and laid upon her bed, or within a forest. She didn’t know where and didn’t care. A few times, she thought about ending her own existence when the sixth to seventh month crossed over. She hid the attempts by long sleeves but the scars were there. Reminders that she is too weak of a person to even commit that act of condemnation.

By the two and a half year mark rolled around, she was considered psychotic and people stayed away from her. She wrote to Lyo when her frame of mind was healthy and told him of what happened. A second letter was written right in the middle of the sixth month telling him good bye and that she wished him well. How he was the only true friend that she has ever had. How much she really did care for him but never mentioned it for fear of his curse and her life. How she thought that Nox had died and wasn’t coming back to her. That she had no reason left to live if he was gone. She explained how wonderful things were going with them and that they planned to marry just like her and Kado was to only less than a half a year after Kado left.

No more letters were sent after that. The blue eyes of hers that used to be vibrant, turned gray. Her hair was unkempt as well as the rest of her place. At least once every few days, an attempt would occur, by herself, on her own life, but with not enough strength, it always failed. That one day where she heard a faint thud, she thought it was kids playing tricks on her, but it was the sound before it that made her think otherwise after a few moments. Using what strength, she has, she stands and walks towards where the noise was heard. Opening the door, all she could to was stare. Blood. A man bleeding. At her door? It was odd. Kneeling down, she conjured what healing magic she had to press her fingers against the head, and heal the wound. It wasn’t much. Enough to stop the bleeding and any other minor injuries over the body.

She didn’t have enough strength to move the body herself as she just sat there and waited for the man to awake. She didn’t even realize that it was Nox. Looking to the journal beside the man, she read the words and with a secret nod inside her mind, she couldn’t help but feel sadness for the man. He was in love, but look at the condition he was in. She hoped that wherever his love was, that hers was strong and so was his, to get them back together, no matter the distance. Closing her eyes, the pale and ill condition of her body, fell to sleep. She lost weight, nearly skin a bones now. Maybe, she might get maybe a bite of fruit or something every eight hours or so. The will to live not there no more, but the will to help others live was a small bleak spark inside knowing that if it was bad enough, she could help, but only enough for them to be able to seek other treatment from more, healthier healers in the town.

She didn’t open the journal, and didn’t even move it from it’s position. It wasn’t hers to look at and respected that as much. The nap wasn’t long, around ten minutes or so before she started to open her eyes and move about. She checked the man’s pulse and with another small jolt of healing that she could manage, if he was still laying there, she stood and walked away from the door, leaving it open, and goes over to lay down on the couch. She stared at nothing and thought of nothing wondering if this is how her God will take her from this world. Laying cold under a blanket with nothing in her mind and nothing for her eyes to stare at to bring hope back into her soul. A bleak outlook for such a young female who, she believes, was the most lively female and loved the world so much that nothing would stand in her way.

Lyo had been keeping tabs on Rosa for most of the three years. Ashamed of his inability to actually show himself near her, but always keeping in check with her as she went further and further into her depression. He was afraid that his curse had burned this depression into her, and that if he got close she would be pushed over the edge into insanity. Instead of seeking her himself he used his powers of clairvoyance and clairaudience to keep tabs constantly, that way he could see her, and hear her. but she not him…

Many times he would find her drained beyond belief and he would come to her to save her from the world around her.. taking her to her home ..taking her to his home in the forests.. anywhere safe so that she could recuperate, but never staying long enough for her to see him… Three years he had hidden this love from the world. But his curse knew, and that was what had made him act the way he had. He couldn’t intervene for fear of her attacking him and her heart breaking further, and he couldn’t let her die in such a manner. No instead, he went in search of her lover. This Nox fellow.. Supposedly in a war in some foreign Land avenging his mother or what heave you.

Lyo did not care what honor it was this man felt like treasuring. He only was concerned with the health slipping away from Rosaria. And how he might be able to bring a smile back to her lips again by brining her that which he knew she wanted ,and knew she deserved beyond anything else. She deserved a man that wasn’t going to leave, yet she had gotten three. A man that was never going to hurt her. Again three strikes.. now come hell or high water he had planned on seeking out this infernal lover of hers and dragging him back by his short hairs if needed to make him understand how much his silly war was hurting the woman he loved.

But no. Lyo never found him, once he had gotten close. But was killed himself. And it took him five days to get better and un-nailed from the blasted tree. Oh how he hated creatures that could drain his psionic energies from him. but no he was a determined elf, and one that very few could ever keep at bay long. When the war ended he found out that his target had headed back towards Tallendon. Was headed back towards h\his lover, but Lyo dint t believe it, he had heard also how he had died, or been murdered, so with out knowing he returned to Rosaria to comfort her… he did not know what to say, but he was going to find a way to mend her heart and her mind. She was a rose that had wilted early, but he knew he could make her blossom again.

He himself had traveled long, and not in a strait path for his return. He had visited other kingdoms, and seen other lands. He knew she was not going to die with out him there. And part of him was making her hold to that. Secretly using his powers form the shadows to keep her alive in the past when she had given up on herself. Secretly he was waiting for this very day. The fifth year anniversary of the day they meet. Of what turned out to be one of his fondest memories.

At noon he moved through the town carrying a single black rose. It was of course for her, she knew exactly how much the b lack rose meant to him. And he hoped she would understand. For this was not any simple rose, but it was an Ashen Rose. And he was planning to show her the magic he had found in the distant land if it killed… Well that sap laying at her door in a pool of blood? that was indeed an odd sight. And her door was open too. Quickly the rose was placed in his bag of holding his he drew faith..

He charged her front door kicking that infernal journal aside as he rushed and nearly leapt inside, blade at the ready, and an air of worry about him. first he glanced over the not nearly dead man, and he almost ran his blade through his heart to end his suffering for Lyo assumed he had attacked his friend. “Rosa” he called out before he looked for her. His powers filling her house to find her even as he spied her on the couch. She was weary, and worn, barely clinging to life it seemed again. “Rosa?” he called again as he moved through the house quick and dropped to a knee at her side.” Rosa what happened? Why is there a nearly dead man on your threshold? And more importantly. Did he hurt you?”

Through the times during his imprisonment the thought of Rosaria was the only thing that kept him living. That one chance that the Gods will bring them back together and finally give them the peace they deserved. He didn’t know about her but his love for her never dwindle...it never faded...if anything it grew stronger. He had someone that he loved and cherished with every inch of his body. Unknowing to her Nox had made a promise to himself, that he will return to her no matter what. If he was going to die, he wanted to die in her arms...not in a bed...in HER arms.

Blood steadily oozed out of the gash and various puncturare wounds on his body. When Rosaria used the magic upon his forehead it stopped the bleeding and heal the minors wounds. And there was life his chest slowly rose and fell as he cough or rather vomit up blood. The cause of the puking of blood was from internal bleeding of some kind and that’s the only thing that was evident. Slowly he tried to form words “N...N...Nox...I...promised” was all he said before he just laid there. Luckily he had gain conscious as far as getting up and walking...that was quiet impossible right now. The ligaments that connect his knee to the rest of his leg was completely destroy for the most part, various muscles had been ripped. If one could look inside of his body it would looked like someone just went crazy with a knife, slicing various muscles with the incentive of torturing him.

Ten minutes passed and he slipped unconscious once again. Nothing that was happening in reality made any difference to him. Not the fact that some random guy almost kicked him. Or that the wounds that was once healed had reopen. Not even the fact that the love of his life was right no more then 30ft away from him. No, nothing matter to him anymore. Within his mind the once perfect world he had was decaying and crumbling down and there was nothing he would do about it..

“Nox, wake up. Wake up.” A voice said in the distance “Come now Nox who are you to just give up on everything that you once held dear? You promised yourself that you would return back to her, but yet you are just laying here? What happen to you, where was that pride king that was present during the times of war, hmm? You are pitiful and you never deserved Rosaria. You know what I don’t even know what she seen in a wimp like you. Sad and I thought you was a real man who wouldn’t stop at anything to be with his lover. Now look she is laying on the cough worried sick because he thinks you are dead. And look is that another man soothing YOUR lover? Wow, how nice. You really are worthless...crap is more valuable then you are.”

Those words cut deeper within Nox then any sword and whoever said them was right. “Help me, regain what I have lost.”

“Now we are talking Nox.” was all the voice said before fading into nothingness. The once decaying scenery within his mind start to become green and beautiful once again. A white glow surrounded his body as it began to heal his wounds. Life force the last resort energy that comes from the user soul. In fact it was a part of one’s soul, somehow Nox had manage to tap into it for the off chance it would give him some time to spend with his lover. He knew that he would die from using this energy but he didn't care. He just wanted to fulfill his promise.

The slam of the door didn’t make her jump. Lyo calling out her name didn’t trigger anything. Him in her field of sight made her eyes shift. Was that a small spark in her eyes that almost brought the color back? Sadly no. Her eyes shift to look back down, where his chest was, but it was almost as if she was looking right through him to the wooden floor. Everything in her home had layers of dust on them from not being kept up. Dishes were dirty and not cleaned. It was just a throughout mess just like her emotions were inside. She heard another man’s voice and her eyes flicker to try to peer over Lyo and his persistent questioning about if she was hurt by that man. The voice sounded familiar but she couldn’t quite place a face to it. She was almost sitting up before falling back down to the couch.

“I’m not hurt. He didn’t touch me. I am fine.”

Her voice holding a monotoned sound to it. Devoid of life as that one last glimmer of hope was fading faster and faster it seems. Standing, she gathered the energy to walk into the kitchen and look back to Lyo. There was only sorrow in her eyes and two tears. One for him and one for Nox. Yes he was right outside the front door, but his appearance changed so much and her depression didn’t help, as she couldn’t make out who he was. The movement was quick, as a rusted knife was grabbed and forced into her body, about the heart area. Luckily it struck bone the first time which was enough to draw that memorable blue back into her eyes before it fades again quickly as it came. She simply falls to the floor. There was no more tears to shed but her body was starting to go into a form of shock. Lack of everything, her body ate away. She was a skeleton encased in skin. Down to under eighty pounds as her heart fights to keep her alive every day.

“Let me go… Let me do this… I can’t live without hurting someone…. “

Her voice very low as blood trickles down from the first strike as the blade was still being held in her hand, but it wasn’t going no where. She was trying to gather the strength but nothing.

“Lyo… He isn’t’ coming back. Nox isn’t coming back. He is gone… I can’t love you cause of the curse even as much as I wanted to, I can’t bring myself to hurt us both. Kado… He isn’t coming back either. Third time isn’t the charm. I have no reason to live anymore. Just… do it… Kill me Lyo, or I’ll do it when you’re not looking… not around… I’ll force myself to the eternal levels of Hell on way or another.”

There was no meaning in those words. All devoid and broken. A hundred percent broken and no amount of healing seems to be able to fix it… or at least she believes so.

Her reaction or better-said lack of reaction spoke volumes to him, but he couldn’t let it hold her down, or more importantly he wouldn’t. The way she had such grayed and dim eyes, the lack of any human emotion in her eyes or words. It pained him stronger then any knife ever had, even more than the ones Kil’Coney had used to flay him flesh from bone. it was in his moment f pain her thoughts eased beyond his notice. And her actions were not anticipatable. At least not until they began. Her hand darted out to an ill-kept blade. Her eyes glossed over with determination. And he was still kneeling on her floor unable to move fast enough.

But where as his body faltered his mind did not. And with his senses taking up her home he had far more than enough power to draw on for rapid action. First he reacted at the knife. Diverting her aim fast but only a few degrees. And then with a blast of power that actually stunned the Psion himself reshaping and blunting the tip of her blade. Yes, he could have far faster, and easier have raised a barrier over her chest blocking her from the act itself. But he knew that would only stop her momentarily, this he hoped would stun her somewhat, and keep her from actually killing herself.

“Can you die without hurting any one? Can your death be forgotten by those that love you?” he stood and moved towards her, a sick glimmer of green reflecting off the sword still held lightly in his grip “You cant LIVE without hurting someone? But can you find a way to die that won’t hurt another? Rosa, life is not designed to be easy. But you cant give up on it. Damnit. I wont let you.. I am not going to kill you. Do you think I could cut out my own heart and thrust blade through it?”

Carefully Lyo moved into the doorway his powers should have sensed the life force being bartered for behind him, but after the shock of power he used they were frazzled he didn’t know the mind behind him belonged to the very man that she wanted, the very man he himself would give nearly anything to be. “Hell won be any better than here, trust me I have seen it. many times… Hell is knowing you can never even enter the after life and be with those that are waiting for you … No Rosa, if either of us are destined to Hell it will never be you.”

Lyo would move to kneel before her and slip his had from the hilt of his rapier and to the hand of hers that was holding the useless dagger. “Rosaria Selorn, I know you are still in there. And we both know that I love you … .even if I never said it I do. And I know how you feel every time you look at me. Every time you blushed.” His thumb ran over the corner of her lips. “We will get you through this. You can’t complete your vow if there is not a time I am not with you and watching” he would move to gently take the knife from her if she let him “Trust me like you used to?”

It was love that killed the beast but for Nox it was different. It was love that saved the beast. Remembers of the pasted flash within his mind, they consist of their first meeting and how she saved him from his enter demon. She was there for him through thick and thin but yet when she needed him the most, fate had to stick her ugly head in and mess up everything. What was Nox suppose to do, allow his mother to be killed and his kingdom burnt down. Or take the risk of rescuing it and hope that Rosaria could withstand their time apart. The choice was hard for him but he did what he thought was right and that was the end of it.

Suddenly fate brought him back to reality and what an ugly reality it was. What his eyes saw horrified him to death, there he watched the love of his life pleading the other man to kill her! What the hell!? Why would she want to throw away her life at such a young age? She still had so much more of her life to live and yet she just wanted to throw it away? Why? Just because she thought the man that she loved was dead!? Because she thought no one cared about her? Fate had covered her and hid the truth from her. The lover that she thought was dead was standing in the doorway, crying because of the fact she wanted to end it all.
But it seemed like the other man had stopped her before she could and was actually trying to talk some sense into her.

“June 1,

Dear Rosaria,
As of today I have been captured by those who bare no name and resides with evil. My body has been torn, ripped to pieces by torture weapons. Claws of whips of nine tails dug deep within my flesh ripping it. As the tug on the whip I could hear my flesh being ripped from my very bone. Pain surged through my body as the cool sensation of blood rolled down my back. God I wanted to give up then but my heart wouldn’t let me. It ached for the love and passion of my lover, Rosaria. They took a hammer and smashed it into my sides, shattering all my ribs. I started to cough of blood, internal bleeding. No doubt I will die soon. They force me to take the liquid that seem eased the pain but no by much. They said it would keep me living that no matter the extent of the wound, I will live. How lovely...I wanted to die then but my thoughts was on you, Rosaria. I miss you and I want to be with you once again. I must got Rosaria for they are coming but I promise you this, no matter what I will return to you. Even if I’m broken I will return....that is a promise. “

Closing the journal he would look at Rosaria and Lyo both. The words he spoke carried across the lands and could easily been heard by those within the room. “The king of Realm of Time but most importantly the lover of Rosaria Selorn. This is Nox returning back to you as I promise.”

It was that movement, the shocking to her nervous system, and Lyo’s blast that diverted the kitchen knife completely. She was down on the kitchen floor shaking as her eyes were closed. She wasn’t really pushed, just fell. There was no harm done to her minus the fact that she was regaining her breath from it. Her chest burned but she knew somewhere in her mind that it was only the right thing for him to do. She felt that wave coming but didn’t have enough time to place up a barrier for her own protection. She did feel the kitchen knife graze her skin near the side of her body as that was really the least of her problems. At that time of the graze, she felt the tip just snap as if it was an old knife and not just rusted. That too fell onto the kitchen floor near her body. Her eyes snap open and finally looks to the dagger within her hand. The knife point gone, before she saw movement. To her, it was blurry, and the voice was distant. She knew who it was though. His words didn’t fall on deaf ears, just that there wasn’t a response to give him. His hands warm as they seem to take the knife from her hands only to do something with it, or she hopes. Her heart seem to sink down when he mentioned that he won’t kill her. She knew that he wouldn’t be able to do it. Her eyes still lacking that spark of life went near white over a period of a few seconds. It was brief, lasting no longer than thirty seconds. It was his touch that brought her eyes back to the gray hue.

Her heart still beats through the color shift of her eyes as she blinks once before closing her eyes. She can feel it starting. That swirl in the center of her body. That inner magical strength. It was like a galaxy swirling around. Blue hues with a center of white. It was just a matter of time, and that time won’t take long. Another different male voice crawls through her ears to lightly tickle the ear drum as she fights the Fates themselves from taking her. She was finally inching her way towards her death bed with that nasty white noise in her ears.

It was Nox.

Her eyes open then to look at him from her head being at an awkward angle. Those eyes were no longer a single color but multiple ones. Almost like the magic swirling in the center of her body is reflected in her eyes. They were swirling blue with speckles of white with her pupil not black but white itself. If a closer inspection, there was a yellow dot in the center of that white. It was untapped energy, magical energy, that she never knew she had. It was from that one fight with her sister a long time ago. It was just sitting there acting almost like a reservoir. Blinking at Nox, it doesn’t register in her mind and after a few moments, her eyes shift to look at Lyo. More blinking as a confused facial expression crashes her fragile features as she doesn’t recognize him either. Moving, she sits up some and looks around completely lost. The color of her eyes growing as more of the white is taking over and the yellow becoming more prominent. After a minute, but no more, she lays back down as her neck lays conveniently onto Lyo’s hand. Looking towards the ceiling, her lips part to let a breath in and to slowly let one out. The coloring around her belly button of her skin isn’t the normal shade, as it seems to be getting paler in shade. Almost a white color of the purest fabric. Once that breath was released, she went limp as her eyes remain open.

Her heart not being as fast as it seems to be slowly loosing the battle it has fought so hard to win within this body. Eyes slowly fading close, she takes a final breath and lets it go. No more heart beat but yet that magical power inside her body grows exponentially. Her skin also retains its warmth. A minute later, her eyes open wide even though there is no… Wait! There is a heart beat. It is faint. Back arching with force not of her own the slamming back down onto the ground. At that moment, the magic inside her body illuminates her and also elevates her off of the ground. Floating at chest level to Nox and in the center of the room, her mouth opens wide as this force the color of light purple trickles up and out only to rain down upon her face like it is sprinkling rain. It colors her face so there is a physical body to it. After that comes a scream, or the movement of screaming. The heaving of the chest and stomach. The scream was within their minds and nearly ethereal as well. It was a bad loud, near mind numbing scream. Before this power, untapped power explodes out of her body. Every inch of her body caught fire, magical fire. Then a wave is forced out of her body completely destroying the clinic and her home completely. So bad that there was no particles left. It was all microscopic.

Within that blast, that seemed to stretch for miles, was this amazing healing power. Nox, was fully healed in less than a second. Lyo, well, luckily, it missed him as it came from her body, she knows that he doesn’t do well with magical healing. Instead, it was as if she was there tending to his wounds using herbs and bandages. Any others that are within the blast radius was fully healed as well. It went for miles and after a minute, that energy that was holding her body up, slowly let her body down but to the top of the table. She lays motionless. Her heart beating strong, her chest barely moving but small inhales and exhales brought oxygen and CO2 in and out of her body normal. Upon opening her eyes, if they tried to check, they weren’t any distinguishing shade. Almost like a translucent rainbow swirling around. Small white feathers then fall from no where upon her body. With each touch of the feather, it leaves ripples over her body as she is being shielded by magic. The bubble breaks like someone breaking a soap bubble, and she is fine. The area around them looks as if it was attacked but a fiery explosion. The magic around her wouldn’t affect Lyo. It was if an invisible barrier was placed around him and couldn’t be removed. A Protection from magic. Nox on the other hand, should have the energy and everything for his age, if not a bit more than normal. Any scars would still be there, but at least he didn’t have to worry about dying or being on his death bed.

She would stay like this for who knows how long. Alive, within a coma, breathing, but still alive. The color is completely back in her skin as she looks healthy as if the day that her and Nox planned to go away before the fighting. Maybe a touch younger… But beautiful and resilient. Almost like a porcelain doll lay upon the table. Her clothing burned at the ends yet her skin is flawless. Upon the left shoulder and seeming to go all the way through her body was a mark. It appeared like a single angel wing. It was edged in black and the color was that of a light blue and light yellow tones. Some pink in there as well. Marbling of color and very pastel and faded. A mark from her deity as she would of died in that spell if not resurrected. Her hair a softer yellow. If anyone touched her to move her, her body would glisten and the slight impression of a golden weaved tiara would appear only to disappear. A sign of royalty to come. A renewed life for a cleric that had such devotion to her deity and to her loves. Lyo and Nox.

-------------

Four months. Two weeks. Three days. Seven hours. Ten minutes later.

-------------

Her eyes finally slowly open as her breathing is deeper now. Slowly she looks around and this immense calm fills her body. She felt as if touched by a God, since she doesn’t realize it, she was. Light as a feather and with this delicate aura about her, she moves. Sits on the edge of the bed and her body was as if she was royal for her whole life. Straight back, with his calming smile upon her face. A motherly calming feeling happens around the room as her eyes are soft blue but bright at the same time. Ones that if looked upon, could see that the doors have been open. Wherever she was at, she held a light glow around her form as she can’t help but smile and start to walk around. It is as if her feet never touches the ground, her skin warm to the touch. A Goddess in every sense of the word. That is what she appears to be and that is what she feels like, but the same Rosaria was still in there and she was happy to be alive. She goes in search for her Nox and her Lyo. Both of them best for her and both of them deserving nothing but the best.

“Nox…. Lyo…?”

Her voice seemed to make those, if any around her, melt with soothing emotions as her voice was a whisper yet came to those who have evil intent as booming and full of power. Those that are in love, to love more, and those who find happiness or joy, to keep doing what they do. A wonderful sound for a wonderful alive person.

Behind him, there was movement, but he did not care. If the man had truly not harmed her then he was of little consequence for now. For now all that mattered to Lyo was before him broken in a manner he couldn’t fathom.. She had tried to kill herself, and might have succeeded if he had not been as worried as he was. Or if his powers did not work as quickly as they did to save her. it wasn’t that Lyo did not understand depression, or anger or rage, or emptiness. It was that he never thought she could be this broken, this devoid of everything that had made her the woman he loved or so long. Was this the revenge of his curse acting out against them? Or was this something else? He would never know, nor would he want to

Behind him, he felt the stirring grow, and before him, he felt a shift in Rosaria as the made spoke. Lyo had never met her betrothed, had never seen him save in the minds of others, and had never heard his voice save for the echoing impression it left in others. Nevertheless, in just the first word he knew he was standing behind him. Nox was not dead, nor was he lost in the world. He had made it all the way back and neither hunter, nor lover recognized him for what he was. And both almost allowed him to die before his quest was completed.

Lyo’s emerald eyes closed, his gaze moved down and he let out a breath slowly.

That was the last ma he wanted to be here at this second. He would have even rather it had been Cirdan. But it wasn’t. It was the man of all of Rosaria’s dreams. The man Lyo could never be, and secretly never hoped to find. Yet even with his own inner turmoil at this very second it never showed on his face. He was far to reserved to let any one else see him hurt like this. Any way but this.

He reopened his eyes slowly and looked back to Rosaria as her powers began to change her. Thankfully, as she looked n at him in confusion his heartbreak wouldn’t be evident. At least unless she thought back on it later. “Rosa, what’s going on?” he asked as she glowed, and magical energies swirled lightly around them, and inside of her. Something strange was going on and as Lyo turned to look towards Nox for some possible answer, she laid down in his hand gently. Which caused him to look Back over towards her and forget his almost asked question. She looked so peaceful, and yet something was wrong…. Her breast didn’t rise, her lungs didn’t fill with air… she was dead?

Lyo refused to believe that. He turned back and gripped her shoulders to shake her, once lightly, then twice harder. “ROSA!” he yelled, and pulled her limp body up. “Rosa” he pleaded with her, a tear slowly falling down his cheek as he dreaded what had just happened….. Her prediction had come true some how… He was there to witness her last breath and to hold her as life drained form her body. it was over, and now he felt that his curse must have caused this insanity in her, that the love they had tried to hide had killed her as the love she thought she had lost was returning… a great moment of joy shattered by pain….

But then he felt it. Her heart beat, she took a violent breath and arched her back…. He was in shock he had never seen a resurrection. Not even his own. A moment later the pain took him as his tattoo lit up like fire. Burning a line of light form around his left eye down his face. Lon g his cheek and neck and tucking into his shirt and doublet. He buckled to the ground and cried out a the powers manifested more. But only for a moment before something somehow shielded him… at first he was still wrought with pain, but soon that faded and his muscles relaxed enough for his eyes to open… The clinic was destroyed, walls, roof, and everything.

Laying draped on a table nearby was the most gorgeous creature he knew. Rosaria had changed. But was still herself, just renewed looking. Younger. Like out of a memory. Lyo looked at her lovingly and then looked to see her lover no doubt nearby. Anger filled him for some reason. His rapier snapped form the floor to his grasp and was quickly pointed at Nox’s heart. Lyo was not one to be trifled with. Especially when he was angered.

“You left to fight a war, and it killed her. And if it wasn’t for her I would kill you so you can see how it feels.” He glared with a level of hate he had not felt in decades. His emerald eyes turning blue with a burning inner flame of power “If you EVER hurt her again I will ram this blade so far down your throat that your very children and grand children will be able to feel the taste of steel on their tongues.” He took pause for only a second to take in another breath “I will see you hung from your entrails as you die, and let you watch as I burn down everything you risked her life to save. Do you understand me! Hurt her again and I will destroy your world”

His blade slashed through the air wickedly as it was lowered, then raised up again as he returned it to her sheathe. Rosaria was alive, and that was the only blessing this day. Lyo emotions were not equipped to handle any form of rollercoaster and this experience was a telling fact of that. “Never think I am not watching her” Lyo’s images seemed to separate for a second, as if he was in the process of becoming two, but then both vanished and a popping was the only thing he left behind. Just a small almost inaudible sound of wind rushing to fill the void he left behind.

Somewhere else, he would reappear. A distant cave filled with small multi colored glowing gems. And an old unused dusty set of pillows. Here he collapsed His fist coming down before anything else to meet the cold stone floor. Next his knees, and finally his tears. Here he would rest for a time. Before he moved on again. here he would spend every second of his existence watching over her as they both regained their strength… her of body, and him over his mind and heart.

So she realized who he was, that was a relief to say the least. As her eyes fell upon his she would notice that they were a darker tint then earlier. A smile formed on his face as he smiled warmly at her. Yes, they were both blind to the fact that the man who had almost died at the doorstep was the one, they sought after. But then again he had changed and there was stuff that he had experience that would never be told, because of it was something that he rather forget. The once decaying world within him began to rebuild itself, as lush green grass replaced the once dead. Wildfire what once fled had return and was now flourish once again.

His eyes would watched Rosaria as he felt the sudden changed of energy and untapped magical power was stirring within her body. Never had he known such a magical force so pure to resonate within a person’s body. There was a confused expression upon his face as Lyo looked at him. He didn’t know what the hell was going on. When lyo spoke he knew then there was something wrong. He watched in horro as Lyo shook Rosaria limped body. No she could have died, not when he had just return from hell to be with her. Oh how cruel can the Gods be. The life force around him began to spas out from the fear of the unknown. Silently he began to say a pray to the Gods in hope that what happen was just a dream and that maybe someone would wake him up and everything be unknown.

The once green world within him had began to decay once more. The ground cracked as lava spilled out through the fissure, animals ran and took cover from the assault on his land. Slowly he was slipping deeper into the darkness that he didn’t want to return to. Tears rolled down his cheeks weeping the lost of his love or at least that what he thought. To caught up in his own emotions he was unaware of what was going on. It wasn’t till he heard the explosion of energy. As the pure energy flooded across his body, he notice that all his wounds were healed with only the scars left. The life force that he once was using had vanish and was replaced with his own unique aura. A pair of white angelic wings folded around him as his eyes just took in the aftermath. Did she really caused all this? How, was the possible? Thoughts flooded through his mind but it was only for a few seconds, before he had move towards the area where Rosaria now laid.

And what his eyes fell upon was the most beautiful thing in the world. She had changed everything about her had changed not only her looks. He didn’t move as he felt the man’s rapier pointing at his chest, it was anger he thought to his self. “Kill me as you wish but it wouldn’t solve anything. Destroy my world? How can you destroy someone that you have feelings for?” He said looking at Rosaria “She is my world if you can destroy her, you are as heartless as those vampric scum who capture me. ” his tongue was harsh but yet he spoke from his heart “I don’t take orders from no one. I will protect her with my life not because you told me to. It’s because I love her.”

He almost chuckled as he kind of read the man’s expression, love was a roller-coaster and some people was better equip to handle it then others “That’s just creepy.” he said with a smirk. He watched as Lyo disappeared from the area.

Four months. Two weeks. Three days. Seven hours. Ten minutes later.

Woah four months done past and the once destroyed clinic was rebuilt and everything was back in place. Nox went through a lot of trouble in rebuilding and finding stuff for the clinic. There was new dishes, cabients, chairs, sofa, new everything. All thanks to those of within the kingdom. Nox had watched over staying near her bed side every waking hour of the day, the only time he left was when he need to stretched or something. Lyo had left soon after the explosion and of course they exchange a few words, but no blood was shred so that was good.

But where was Nox you ask? Sitting on the rooftop of the clinic, wearing a pair of baggy black pants and nothing else. His angel wings were folded on his back and he was just daydreaming to be honest. The sweet, almost hypnotizing voice of Rosaria caused Nox to snap out of the day dream. Standing up jump off the rooftop and walked into the clinic. Nox would appear a few feet away from Rosaria “Lyo left after he knew you was okay. He cared about you and will always be watching you. But I’m here if that’s good enough for you?” the last sentence had a hint of humor in it and he batted his eyelashes slightly.

Physically Nox had gotten more toner and a little more tanner, his eyes was a darker tint before but there was warmth within them. His eyes fell on to her as he went to hug her and cry softly, he had missed her and she was the only thing that kept him alive during the days in which he was tortured. There was catching up to do and there is no way in hell that he is going to miss anything now.

She heard everything from when she was placed upon the table. Heard how much hurt was in Lyo’s voice as well as Nox’s. She just couldn’t do anything about it. Couldn’t cry out and tell them how sorry she was. It wasn’t her intent to hurt them more. It was when she awoke and heard Nox’s voice of Lyo’s words, she realized how bad she had hurt him. Or was it the curse that hurt them both? Her heart ached for the pain she caused Lyo but at the same time, happy that Nox was alive and well.

“I love you Nox. At the same time, I love Lyo as well. I have came to terms with my love for Lyo as in the end, it has caused both of us nothing but pain… so thus his curse has done it’s job. Lyo is a great friend that I can always turn to and can depend on no matter what. Just like you… My best friend and love. I heard his words of malice towards you when I was on that table, and I wish I could of yelled out to help solve the situation, but I couldn’t.”

Feeling his embrace and the warmth wetness of his tears upon her shoulder, she closes her eyes as the smile that was on her face from when he showed up, faded.

{Lyo… if you can hear me… I’m sorry. Sorry for all the pain I’ve caused you. If I didn’t show up in this town, you probably wouldn’t be feeling what you are now. Please… Let my eyes cast upon your form at least once more … At your own time.} Sending her thoughts out across the lands to see if it will be answered. Even a small sign as simple as a uplifting breeze would at least trigger that he heard her. Something.

“My deity brought me back to life knowing how I would of easily gone to hell for the selfish act I would of done. Thus in doing so, granted me with the ability to heal all no matter what conditions they have. With being granted this power, I sit on his counsel and might be called in for advise at any time. Luckily enough, time passes by a lot faster down here than it does within his realm. I am his resident healer now. Can go anywhere within this realm, yours, or his to heal at free will. All I have to do is think about it and I’ll go. It’s an honor but I told him that I need advanced notice for when I am leaving. So that I can make the best of my time with you.”

She steps back to just look upon his form as the smile forms in the corner of her lips. Stronger, darker, more scars. Scars she can remove by a single touch. That isn’t up to her though. It would be up to him.

“… I’m sorry for going down a road I shouldn’t of. I kept thinking, that if there was some way of contact. Any. A small note with just your name on it in your manuscript. Or a messenger managing to hear word from you in your trying times… I wouldn’t of be what I am now. I promise you Nox, that this will never happen to me again.”

{Lyo… I promise to you.. To take any pain I might of caused you.. Away. To take the sadness from your heart and to take the malice from your words. It wasn’t what I wanted. None of that was. I’m sorry.} Another thought sent out hoping that it doesn’t fall upon his deaf mind.

Looking to Nox, she clears a tear before falling as the smile is full now. Her touch in the embrace was that of a soothing and calming, almost like a mother’s touch. Taking his hand, she walks through the newly rebuilt clinic and nods before sitting down on the couch. Both of her legs down and crossed at the ankles as she rests her back against the couch. She probably should change, but that will come later as she is going to be summoned by her Deity once more today.

“Tell me… Everything. Anything..everything you want to tell me. I shall listen.”

His once decaying worlds was now back to its lush green self. Animals flourish about everywhere, grazing and feeding on the grass. This is how it will remain well at least he hoped it did for if he slips down that road once again, there would be no turning back. There was something that had happen within the war that changed him kind of but it wasn’t evident, not just yet anyway. Listening to her words caused his heart to melt and it reminded him, how much he was in love with her. Even though it was quite obvious. He understood fully where she was coming from and he must accept that fact if he wanted to live with her happily ever after.

“I love you to. Don’t worry about it he was pissed at me for leaving you so it was understandable. He was just doing what best friends do, so no biggie.”

The angelic wings on his back soon faded as it return back into his aura. Again he listens to her words about how she was brought back by her deity. And how that she now serves on his counsel and could be called on at any time and he understood it fully. When she mentioned The Realms of Times, his body twitched slightly as a bright light laminate the area. As they were transport to another time within Nox’s mind. What was seen was a blonde hair lady in her late 40's. She wore a royal blue dress that with warm green eyes, her hair was in a bun and she was talking to someone. However the other person could not be made out, no physical features or anything . . . just a black outline of a person.

“Are you sure you want to do this?” The blonde lady asked.

“Yes, for her sake. I cannot become this Kingdom ruler.” The shadowy figure said.

“Very well, take care and we love you.” The blonde lady said.

Rosaria and Nox would find themselves still standing up and looking at each other. What had just happen was a flashback of sorts. Unknowing to Rosaria it showed the day after he had finished the war, he had officially given up his rights as ruler of his kingdom. What led up to this change was only known by Nox and thus it would remain that way until he decides it was the right time to do so.

“I tried to send you messages but that could have been risky. But the fact remains if they knew I had a love one they would have targeted you and you could have gotten hurt or even worse killed and I couldn’t live with myself.”

He smiles warmly at her, and she was beautiful. Feeling her touch on his skin caused his muscles to relax and a calming feeling to it. It amazed him how calming her touch was. Allowing his hand to be taken into hers he allows her to guide him to the couch. Letting out a deep sigh he would think about what she had just asked of him

“Some things I rather forget but I will tell you. The day I left I was informed that the Realms of Time was under attack and needed my assistance. It wasn’t till I got there that I found out the rest of the truth. Those invaders where the same ones who kidnap me before, apparently they lived through the injuries. Anyhow they had capture the one other female that I would do anything for and that was my Mother. For a year I and my soldiers waged war against them trying to reclaim our kingdom but most importantly my mother. On the winter of that first year an agreement was made, they would allow my mother to go but the cost was . . . I must become there captive. So there I was again in the hands of those who turned me into a beast once but I hope they wasn't planning to this time. For the next two years I was beaten, broken, cut, abused, and injected with so much crap I could have been classified as a radioactive material. But not once did I break, I couldn’t because if I did that mean I would have lost fate in everything but most importantly you. Every day or every night I wrote in a journal about you. How you were the only reason, I wouldn’t die on this battlefield. That it was you who gave me strength when my soldiers were tired and out numbered. You gave me strength when every time they torture me, how I just wanted them to end it all . . . you gave me strength to keep on fighting. It was you who my hearted ached to be with, and to hold . . . to love just simply be with you. For the one chance that I will be back with you.”

Picking up the Journal that was on the table he would read the front of it “Never forgetting her. I never forgot you Rosaria and this journal is the testament to that. One day when you believe, you can handle the horrific details of my time gone. Read it and once you read it. burn it. It is something I rather forget.”

From rafters and shadows, alleyways, side streets, and back roads Lyo had watched life lip by. He had watched others doing what others did, and studied life from a distance. He never joie din for long, and always returned post haste to his wallflower lifestyle. Few had pried this gargoyle from his roost and fewer still cracked his granite like exterior to show there was a living feeling man underneath. Life was not a spectator sport, and yet Lyo was indeed not an active participant in it. He calmly watched, waited, and bided his time for that one moment worth reaching out for. And in his own arrogance and insecurity let it trickle past him like the flowing of a gentle river. Like the sands through an hourglass.

There was a small likely hood that his routine would change in time, there was a chance that eventually another would pull him from the bench and put him in control of the world around him. but it was unlikely that given that chance he would take it. for to long he had sat and watched, and now he wasn’t even certain exactly what it was he was watching. Life changed, ages came and went, empires were born and fell. And yet he remained… ever fixed in time. Never growing, never aging, never being willing to take the center stage due to an irrational fear he wouldn’t explain.

So did that make the events that rolled out around Rosaria unseen? Was there some sheet that had been laid over the outcome in an attempt to make him want to see it more, some lie explaining how he had to actually try for time to reveal to him a possible happy ending? Who knew, he still didn’t know himself.

What he did know was that his role in this tale was done. It was time to move on and leave love at another’s doorstep, love was not something he allowed himself. It wasn’t solely his curse the ruined things for him… it was he himself that started thing on the inevitable downward spiral he thought they would go… This wasn’t his curses fault. It was his own fault. Yet sadly he didn’t know that. And when one doesn’t know, or understand history they become destined to repeat it again…

And yet the soft words spoken by Rosaria’s mind eventually find him and to some degree offered him peace, though not more than he was willing to take. Over a distance of a thousands miles, through a dark forest, and a burning ocean of sand to the oasis he was resting at in his travels as the brave warrior ran away from life. a small tear formed on his lashes yet he didn’t answer her. he couldn’t bring himself to… In his mind it was better if she could devote herself fully to her future, and forget her past. Forget him….

But he knew she was not one to simply forget anything, and hew was not ready to become some quest of hers, undertaken in worry over a friend. So he did speak. “Rosaria, there is no pain you have ever caused me I did not ask for, no trouble that I did not welcome head on , and no sorrow in my heart at the way events had played out…. I would not ask for this to end in any manner than your happily ever after. Take this life, take all that it gives you, and run with it.. Rarely does life offer second chances, this is yours… use it wisely” he smiled and pulled a small rose stem out of his pack, he had meant to give it to her that day. As a token.. a symbol.. But events had turned for the worse quickly and her gift had been forgotten. Maybe today was a good day to return the gift to its rightful owner.

A gentle popping, just a soft little crackle of power ad his gift to her would be present in her home, gently resting in a bowl filled with lamp oil it happily flickered away. And inscription on the crystal chalice it now knew as home read carefully in the common human tongue, expertly carved, and perfectly written "Let love be thy guide, even in the darkest of night. This flame of hope shall always burn”

Hearing Nox’s words, she nods and looks down at the book that she placed upon her lap. Her fingers running over the cover, she curls her fingers around the edge and starts to open it. It was then that those familiar words came to play upon her mind. A most welcoming tingling sensation. He was okay and that was the most she could of asked for. Drawing her eyes closed, she said a thank you towards Lyo before opening them. Once more, she got ready to open the journal and then there was a light pop of magic. Shifting her gaze, she sees the flower glistening in the oil. She tilted her head slightly and smiles nodding to the inscription.

“ A love between understanding friends.”

Words whispered as she looks to Nox briefly then to the journal. She took her time, spending hours reading and understanding the emotions written on the pages before her. How the blood sweat and tears were placed in each darkened script of ink. There was no emotions to be placed upon her face as she read it as time would allow them to be revealed. Each word burned into her mind as if she was there herself, at his side, dealing with the same thing that he was going through. It was then, that she realized how selfish she was in trying to take her own life, when he nearly died to get back to her. It was then that the tears fell silently upon her lap, but not to stain the journal, but her dress instead. I would be early morning of the following day when she finished the journal. It was laid to the side of her as she sat and stared out at the beginning of the new day. Her hand resting upon it softly as some time in the middle of the night, her hair was braided by her. A method of keeping her self under control of the emotions she is feeling.

Standing, she walks over and tucks the journal in between two logs and with a simple incantation, she calls forth fire to burn the pages that will haunt her… lover forever within the recesses of his mind. With the light of the day coming up, she drapes her cloak over her shoulder and pulls her hood up before taking a trip out of the home for the first time in months since she nearly committed suicide. The air chilling upon her face but welcoming as her footsteps were silent. She lets her body take her anywhere and she managed to stop on the shores. Standing, she looks to the waves crash upon the sands as her bare feet felt chilled by the cold sand. It was relaxing and calming to her. Releasing the cloak, she lets it puddle in cream folds at her feet before she heads towards the water.

Each step, the water would rush over her feet causing shivers over her body but welcoming ones. Unbraiding her hair, she lefts the ocean breeze fill the strands as her eyes were down at her feet then up at the sun. Moving up and down as her mind processes the words in the journal and placing them away into her own deep recesses so that it doesn’t harm her own life. Those thoughts and of her own selfish actions, both placed far back into her mind, where she hopes to never drag them out again.

He stands near the couch as he watched her, begin to read the journal of his hell. There he stood quietly as he watched her read every single word of that cursed book. Apart of thought maybe it was a mistake letting her read something so disturbing. But then again she needed to know the truth, as the time passed he had slipped into his room and laid down on the bed. Every now and then checking up on his love to see how she was during...and every time she was reading it.

It wasn’t before long he felt a slight release within in his body, and sighed deeply. She had finished the book and made good on her promise by burning it. “Thank you” he said softly, before the rays of the sun seeped through the window. Stretching slightly he got up and went towards her room. Upon entering he notice she wasn’t there and in fact wasn’t in the house period. She must have went out, he thought. He quickly put on a black pair of pants and a white silk shirt that was transparent for the most part.

Walking outside he the welcoming of the cool breeze hitting his face and body was a welcoming presents. Talking to a few people it was determine that she was seen headed towards the beach. So thus that where he went. Taking upon his angel form he would soar towards the beach. Upon reaching the area, he stood out the line of sight from her as he just watched her from the distance. She looked so peaceful just standing there. Maybe he shouldn’t disturb her but then again he did want to hold her in his arms. “My love care if I join?” he asked loud enough that she would hear him but soft enough that it didn’t fright her.

Walking up behind her, the coolness of the water hitting his feet, he wrapped his arms around her waist and whisper something in her ear “I love you, my beautiful angel.”

She felt his presence long before he got to his hiding spot. She didn't say anything until the slight jump at his touch. Lowering her hair, she smiles and then up and over her shoulder to see him.

"Of course you can join me Nox. I won't ever deny you that."

She stands letting the water rush up onto her feet as she entangles her fingers around his on her form.

"I love you too."

Her voice soft as she finally switches a switch in her mind. Letting go of his hands, she turns around in his arms wrapping hers around his neck. Her head rests under his as her eyes close.

"We both done things in our lives, whether for family or selfish reasons, that we need to forget. I won't drag out those memories of what happened to both of us.... They are safely tucked away far into my mind. Present and future is all we have now... Together Nox. Welcome home Hon."

As their fingers interlock with one another, he smile warmly as his love. There wasn’t enough words to describe how he felt right now, he was at least with his self and everything around him. When she released his hand and turned around, his arms automaticaly went around her waist as hers went around his neck. His lips would meet the top of her head as he listens to her words.

It wasn’t until the last of her words register with him did a tear rolled down his face. It was true, he was finally home again and this time he was staying. “Thank you” two words nothing more simplier and truer then that escaped his lips. Minutes would pass before he manage to say anything and what he was going to say would be a shock to most people “No longer am I king of the realms of times. After explaining to my mother that I rather be hear with you she allow me that wish. But as long as it stands, we will be treated as royality when we visit.”

Without even giving her a chance to respond or act to what he said....tilting her chin up. He would kiss her passionately before breaking from it.

She enjoyed the embrace and the passionate kiss. When the kiss was over, she blinks her eyes a few times before looking up at him.

"It matters not. You are alive, I'm alive... Royalty or not, we are together and will be."

It was one thing that never came off of her finger was the engagement ring. It stayed on her finger the entire time of her breakdown. Her eyes shift to that and then her own vision hazes over as memories slip in. Good Memories of the days before he was taken then today... on the beach. The bad memories still there but she isn't trying to recall them. Shifting her eyes back to his after a few moments, she can't help but smile. Resting her head against his chest, she closes her eyes and sighs. He was home. Her hug was a bit more stronger since well, she just wants to make sure he was real and not a figment.

"This is your Kingdom Nox. You might not be the true ruler, but my... our home is yours to rule... as am I."

She knows that he won't really control her but she does hope he understands what she was saying.

Yes, he was alive and it felt good. His eyes met hers as a soft smile spread across his face. Wrapping his arms around her he snuggle up against he, it felt great to return to the place that he called home. To be able to spend his life with his future wife. His right hand glided across hers as it ran across a ring...it was the engagement ring he had given her before he had departed. She had kept it all this time? He thought to his self, before her embraced brought him back into reality. “Yes, baby I am real. And for now on I will be staying around the house for the most part, since it seems I always get into trouble when I’m not near you.” he said in a joking manner, referring to a little unknown fact that he tends to get into some type of fight or even worse capture when he isn’t around Rosaria.

“No Rosaria this is no my Kingdom....this is our kingdom.” he said in a soft voice, before kissing her on the forehead. Yes, he would never control her, well unless in bed and that’s another story. But as for right now there are a lot of things that he need to catch up on and he wonder if she felt it.

She lifts her head from on his chest as she looks to him.

"Oh please... You'll venture out. You're a strong man that doesn't need to stay home. Go... do something with your body. Never know when age might swing it's head and knock you on your butt so that you can't do anything."

She grins at her rant as she shakes her head and releases from his embrace only to start to run along the beach as she manages to hold her dress up and keep a pretty good pace. Laughing and having a great time as she wonders how long it will take for him to catch up to her, provided he doesn't cheat to do so.

"No cheating!"

The cool water feeling relaxing and nice on her legs as she can't stop from laughing and there really wasn't anything funny to be laughing about.
