She was at this very location a few years ago. The sound of a single bag being placed at her feet was almost eerie as no one was at the docks this early. It was nearly two in the morning. A breeze that seems to mimic breathing makes the length of her dress move like the waves of the sea. †

"Is there anything else ye be needin' tonight M'lady? I can escort ye in to the local inn if ye be needing it." The male voice was rough from being at sea. †

She smiles at the rather tall and lanky man and shakes her head, "No thank you. This place was my home once. It couldn't of changed that bad, Captain. I appreciate your offer though." She looked from the man whose skin appeared leathery to the surrounding area. "I do hope your time at sea will treat you just fine Captain, that is if you don't plan on staying the night. Your crew could use a bit of rest and relaxation." †

The captain nods, "Aye, ye be right." With that, he bows his head to her excusing himself to tell his crew that tonight will be a stop. †

Gathering her small brown leather satchel in her hand, she heads off in the direction of the town but in no hurry. Her footsteps barely echo on the wooden dock. She knew that there would be soldiers around and who knows if any would recognize her. She hasn't changed much. Her blonde hair still a signature staple, if it was down. It was pulled up in a very intricate updo (Hair). Sapphire hue with the tiniest hints of silver, the dress was made of velvet. She probably should have been wearing it as it didn't seem appropriate for an ocean voyage. Luckily, she was able to change from her cotton dress to this as the boat docked. (Dress) She had on a black hooded cloak that covered her hair and most of her features. †

She listens to the people wondering around with mugs of ale sing off key but enjoying themselves none-the-less. It brought a smile to her face as her steps were slow and casual. Reminiscing was a wonderful thing. As she moves towards the more lit areas, a few cat calls echoed through the night. With a slight shake of her head, she dismissed them as nothing but humorous. She would pass a few guards before probably being stopped by one. Suspicious having a lone female with rather expensive clothing on wondering so early in the morning. †

With little dialog, she allowed the guard check her satchel and she even showed them her face, upon being ordered. It must have been a new recruitment of men as neither of the guards recognized her. With a smile and a gentle nod of her head, she places the hood back †up and picks up the satchel. She was back on her way. Inside the satchel was nothing but a journal, and a few medical supplies she never goes anywhere without. Bandages, salves, and a few vials for those emergency needs. It wasn't heavy and she intended to keep it that way. †

Taking in a deep breath of the diminishing salty air, she starts to remember her time here in Tallendon. She hopes that her visit won't be a short nor a long one. Perhaps one that will be memorable, just like before. She takes the cobblestone path to find sand shortly after. She removes her leather slippers and felt the cool sand on her bare feet. A few steps later, she places her shoes down and then tucks her cloak to sit down. With the cloak keeping her warm, her eyes look around before stopping on the silvery moon and the shadow along the water. Smiling, her memories of the place floods as sound of the waves crashing on the shore fades. She closes her eyes and bows her head going over many memories of when she was here. It was all about her friends. If she prods at those memories hard enough, a dense fog will appear and the memories are lost.

After about ten minutes, she opens her eyes and raises her head until those eyes look upon the cliff of where the main castle is. She was about to say something out loud to herself but decides to keep it inside. She catches the glittering of the stars before wrapping her arms around her legs and fingers clasping together. The fingers were bare of the engagement ring she wore for a while. She still had the two engagements rings placed away in her satchel as each of them made her wonder how those two men were doing. The last she heard, one was married and well, she doesn't know much of the other. She does hope that he found love and happiness. She did however wear a silver bracelet with a single blue gem secured near the back of her hand. (Bracelet) It was her mothers. A single tear falls as she looks to it. She keeps it clean and wears it all the time. A memento of memories from two great people. The inside is engraved in Elvish. Her father gave it to her mother as a wedding gift. The words 'I will always love you.' done by his own hands. Lowering her head to knees, she closes her eyes and just listens to the waves once more. s

Time would go by until the sun starts to rise. The rays would touch her skin making it warm. She fell asleep on the beach and ended up laying on her side in the sand. She was dreaming of her life when she had no troubles; where she was free of burdens.

As the flap of the many seagull wings and the birds cawing repeatedly, she opens her eyes. Her hearing gradually became better as the busy sound of the docks echoed. She stayed still for a good few minutes just listening. It was different than the silence that filled her cabin in the woods in that land many miles away. Taking a deep breath, she sits up and then stands. Her body stretching and then relaxing as she looks to the docks. More boats were there. The sails of many different colors and some with emblems.

Grabbing her satchel, she heads off to go to the town. If it is busy on the docks, then the town must be full of life and stock full of merchants and people. She could stock up on some supplies while there. Lifting her hood, she places it back onto her head and follows the cobblestone pathway into the main area of Tallendon.
