The fog was thick around her, no matter where her wings turned the fog was still there choking her. Kara was gone and no one was there to save her! But who was Kara? Where was she? And why did she care?
Her head came swiftly free of her wing as the lands of tales was forced to release their grasp on her heart. Her eyes widening with terror and confusion clear within them. Visions had come to her during her resting period. Looking at the sky there was no signs that there was fog nor time to hunt yet.
Shaking her wings out, she lifted her head to call to the heavens. Letting all know that she was awake. In particular, one in case they wanted to call her to them again. Cirdan. The man of sorrows. He had taken comfort in her presence for many moons now. Not once had he revealed himself to be as the other land creatures claimed him to be. And till the proof was laid before her, she would not turn her back on him.
At this time till she knew what was going to be going on, a feeling tugged deep in her soul. She would take to the skies and search the lands. Search till she was certain this creature in her dreams was not in danger. The creature needed her, but were the visions to come to truth or were they just to be lost as the steps taken would pull their paths far apart.
Diving off her nest so far deep and hidden within the mountains, she plummeted fast before spreading her wings and taking to the currents above. Soon she would appear to be nothing but an average sized hawk soaring the skies for few could judge the distance she really was in the heavens. And even fewer would believe what they saw when thinking a hawk or any bird her size could exist within the clouds.
Eyes forever viewing and scanning the ground for the maiden in distress.
