PostSubject: Memories of the past part 1   Tue Mar 13, 2012 9:43 am

Cirdan moves silently down a dark path that leads towards an old ruin it was once a Kingdom long ago called Siannodel in which he ruled there. He reached the pinnacle of his power but that power did not last very long as he was to declare Siannodel an Empire an attack was placed upon it a decisive attack that a group of mercenary’s and soldiers from some unknown Kingdom caused. Though Cirdan was warned about the attack, he still felt the blame he did not warn everyone his heart during that time was filled with grief and longing he was blamed for the attacks that happened the council exiled him and banished him from the Kingdom ‘’ The irony’s ‘’ he mumbled out loud to himself.

As he gazed upon the old ruins as his arms crossed over his chest as he wore his chainmail suite of armor his long black cloak flowing down his back covering his wings his white horse by his side, the cowl over his head covering half his face, strapped upon his right sheath his sword Izae’essa a holy sword of great power. He moved forward down the path as the sun settled down the mountain side covering the land in darkness giving it a ghostly appearance, a haunting foreboding sense filled his very being as if something very wrong about this scene as the winds blew gently against the skies, the leaves rustling as some fell to the ground into t he snow covered lands some of it was melted already as spring was near.

Cirdan knelt down to pick up some dirt as he brushed his hands gently against it his eyes staring upon the ruins that he has yet to leave his spot. He debated the idea of what he wanted to do he knew it would be a lot of work as his blue eyes gaze upon the area some ‘’ it can be revived ‘’ he said calmly to himself as he thought about it more and more and even considered against it as instincts have argued with him. More then one occasion he has stood there in silence and mourning to on lookers it would have been a curious site.

The power he once had by rights was taken away from him that day he knew, even if he manage to revive it how was he going to build onto it and make everything the same again as they once were. Would it even be the same he thought to himself and he thought of the consequences of this move, if he bound himself to the Kingdom and Empire knowing fool well what happen if he did so he had bonded with Oona it surely effect her as much as it would effect him he curses silently to himself ‘’ More then a memory! ‘’ he said out loud to himself as he continued to stare upon the old Palace he once lived in as he decided to do so he moved silently down the path there was something strange going on in there as far as what it was he wanted to find out and to investigate the ruins as each thought pressed on to him as if something haunting was within it

To be on the safe side he with drew his blade as he stalked through the shadows as his eyes linger for a moment or two upon the ruins he moves slowly creeping up towards the entrance, he gently pushes the doors open luckily for him the wards were well away the protection of the castle was well gone from the attacks so long ago, everything was in rubble within the Palace every part of the place was in ruins, there was cracks in the skies and puddles of water dripping on the cobble stone floors back in the day it would have been marble stones but since then everything went into ruins and disrepair he stood in center of the palace as he lingered there for a moment he closed his eyes lets out a long sight so many memories he thought to himself, he opened his eyes and as if the images of the Kingdom before the attacks came upon his mind he heard the dancing and the talking and murmurs as well as the music he gazed around as he saw the image before him as if it was very real to him ‘’ Ahh but you trick me’’ he mumbles to himself.

The footfalls near Cirdan were silent, something unusual for the size of the being who had moved closer while Tallendon's Emperor stood gazing into the past through the mind's eye. This particular being was well known to the Elven emperor at least by name. Truly there was more to Thasrissian then anyone save himself would ever know the full extent of being an ageless creature as he was. When the dragon finally spoke it was in a low rumble full of strength common to any male dragon. "Do the memories past trick you? Or perhaps how you perceive them? The illusion is merely there because you allow it to exist."

Thasrissian proceeded to sit back on his hind legs, resting at his full height. "Tell me what it is you seek here Cirdan. I know something troubles you, else you wouldn't have traveled this far simply to stand in the ruins of an ancient city." The dragon chuckled for a moment causing the ground to rumble slightly.

He looked around the Throne room as beautifully decorated as it was so long ago, though how could it be? He questioned it the reality before him he moved some taking a step forward as he listened to the music carefully and the celebration going on. Was this the beginning he thought to himself as if the very thought of the reality within his own mind, it seemed so real to him he made his way upon the balcony so he can get a view of the Kingdom as he made his way up the stairs everything was as it should have been. He passed several on lookers who seem to regard him some had hint of reverence on him, anger, fear also respect all at once none questioned him or stopped him as he made his way up to the upper towers, he moved into his old studies.

He moved into the room and closed the door behind him he has been wondering what is going on at this moment, he moved towards the Window as he opened it allowing the cool breeze to flow through brushing against his soft face, as he touched the wooden edge of the window, he looked down they were celebrating it seems down below the Kingdom was young still and people flowing in. people seem to turn to regard him as he made his appearance within the balcony as they all gave pause all knelt down before him apparently at his services, he questioned this also he pondered his next course a speech perhaps or perhaps to warn them but what be the purpose? He thought to himself as he watched everyone before him. His appearance changed he had a much younger look to him he was still pale, had fair skin

Then he heard the voice of his friend within his mind as he spoke to him, it seemed however distance to him. He felt he was not alone then as strange as it seems ‘’ My fellow citizens ‘’ he said loudly as his voice seem to amplify by use of magic so all can hear him as he opened up his arms as if a welcoming gesture ‘’ I thank you for the aid in rebuilding this wonderful Kingdom, this Kingdom will be marked as one of the stronger ones from this day fourth and know that I am here to serve the Kingdom and the people within it ‘’ he paused to consider his words next as he leaned forward ‘’ you have done a great service, and know that I consider you all equals ‘’ he continued his speech

As he talked to this imaginary kingdom within his mind, his voice he mumbled the same lines of speech decipherable as well Locke would be able to hear it as he spoke calmly to an un seen audience as he seems frozen in place within the Palace ruins as the images continue to assault him, his body was sweating and his appearance also seem to have changed through the assault in reality he appeared as if he was when he first built the kingdom and his cloths changed too the symbol of Siannodel showed upon the cloak he wore, the same garments and outfit he was far off into the past he barely seem to notice him

"Fortunately nothing evil holds him bound like this." Thas said shifting slightly to raise a claw up with a bit of dirt held in it. This dirt would then be released next to Cirdan in the air where it seemed to simply hang suspended. "From what I can gather seeing this. I would say he is trapped in some sort of temporal echo that formed after these ruins were created. Perhaps best you keep some distance from him or become trapped in it yourself. If it wasn't for the immunity my kind has to the effects of time and manipulations of reality I might have found myself trapped as well."

Thas lifted his tail up from the ground moving it along in the dirt in an effort to find the boundary of the anomaly. Eventually there was a small wall of dust suspended in the air around Cirdan, making the boundary visible enough as to avoid it. "I know that you and him are bound, is there anything you can tell me of what he is seeing? If I can determine what time he is trapped in I should be able to help him escape this anomaly."

Cirdan moved away from the crowd feeling pretty confident about his work, and the kingdom he felt this kingdom will be the pinnacle of his power, as he stepped away from his pedestal; he marched into the throne room as the cheers continued as well the music. Two guards motioned to join him then as if to protect him they were silent and they marched in unison his elite guards, Cirdan marched with an air of pride, strapped upon his right sheath and strapped upon his right sheath Stormbringer rested against his side as it seem to murmur softly in a mono tone type sound, an evil sound none of love or joy but of evil.

He paused for a moment as he turned to regard it and his eyes widen in fear in reverence of his own sword, others looked worried and confused of why he’d act the way he has been as Cirdan realized his own reactions he calmed himself and composed himself whatever is going on he didn’t want them to think that he knew more of what to expect. He knew then now that several kingdoms would be marching there way to his Kingdom seeking peace treaties with his new Kingdom’s he moved to this throne room chair as he took a seat there as he considered what to do next, a courier entered and came running towards Cirdan, he dipped into a bow announcing the first kingdoms arrival he nodded in agreement ‘’ Bring them in ‘’ he said rather coolly ‘’ as he sat down as the courier left and the visitors arrived to discuss the terms of the treaty.

After what appears to be several hours of talking, Cirdan got up shook the leaders hands and clasped both his hands upon them and nodded ‘’ I thank you and if ever you need me for anything feel free to contact me ‘’ with this he released his hands as he dismissed him he soon walked away from the throne room as several soldiers helped escort him out protecting him at same time ‘’ That went well ‘’ he said calmly to himself there was one difference in this reality he wore no wings upon his back as of yet he didn’t even realize this, he stared at the entrance as he sat there relaxing pondering what to do next…

Oblivious to his surroundings in the real world, he stood still his features changing and his appearance seem to change as well same as his dream appearance in all respects the only difference will be his weapons are different , the conversation he spoke of he spoke out loud to the others at same time his voice was clear they could hear what he said but could not see who he was talking to as if some imaginary force, something but if they looked into his mind they see who he was talking to and also notice the weapon he carries upon his right sheath

Thasrissian arrived somewhere nearby and out of sight as he had done in that past age. For some it might very well be a maddening process to repeat the past all over again. In his case however it seemed to be a required albeit troubling necessity. Once the ageless dragon had gotten a sense of where Cirdan was he shifted apparel to match that of what he had worn at the time. During this part of his past Thas was merely a court wizard and part of Tai'mira's mage council. Luckily he was also the one chosen at the time to visit the various kingdoms within reach of Tai'mira and form relations between them if possible. A small mercy for what would likely be a daunting task of damage control.

The dragon realized it wouldn't be long until Cirdan began to realize his mind had been drawn into the past. At which point there was bound to be an effort on Cirdan's part to change everything that he had done wrong. "Cirdan...Cirdan...Cirdan...trouble follows you like no other I have seen. Oh what trouble you have gotten me into this time..." Thas whispered to himself moving out from his hidden point of arrival.

Eventually he made his way over to the palace and requested an audience with the then ruler of Siannodel. Perhaps there would be a way to get Cirdan out of this mess before anything major occurred, and Thas truly hoped there was for everyone's sake.

The familiar figure of the elven maiden flickered into sight, her head turned to glance over her shoulder at Thasrissian before she gave a silent nod of acknowledgement to an old friend. As if in a trance, her soft blue gaze returned to the open floor of the throne room, a place she long ago had visited many a time. Taking a timid step, she moved forward past the threshold of the present ruins, to the glory of the past within the chamber. Transparent wings unfurled behind her, glass-like without true sunlight reflecting against them.

Her powerful voice resonated with power of the dragon, as she stretched out a hand to Cirdan and spoke. "Avalon stands but beyond the gates of sanctuary old friend, will you offer us safe harbor and trade routes between our regions?" The former queen stood with her hand outstretched to the lordship, awaiting his answer. She knew well what the past they had lived through had given in reply, but journeys through past events often brought about other possibilities.

Her regalia was plain for a current/former ruler, a simple gown with high empire waistline and broad sleeves. About her waist, rested a belt with a small pouch attached, and her opposing hand rested her boe staff, a simple walking stick for one unfamiliar with legendary weaponry. Behind her wafted a shadow suggesting of one whom was meant to be there but was not present, yet. Reptilian in frame, winged but to the size of a normal humaniod, an escort, perhaps her husband but his presence was not a certainty.

Cirdan looked towards Esmerdain and he smiled in welcome ‘’ Ah Esmerdain it is as always an honor to have you here my lady ‘’ He bowed graciously to her accepting her out stretched hand as he lifted it and kissed it gently as his eyes forward gazing upon her he releases her hands, as he goes to his customary posture ‘’ As always I will be happy to ally myself with you, you have always been there for me and I welcome it openly ‘’ she notice on his hips Stormbringer resting contently an old sentient sword. In back of Cirdan’s mind the real Cirdan who is trapped witnessing the events saw everything transpiring he wanted to reach out somehow warn her of the future events and wondered if she even believe him, or think he is insane he finally gained some measure of control of his mind and seems timid at first as he regained his control of himself of the past like a ghost possessing someone else, she note his change then ‘’ I must warn you of future events Esmerdain Lucian may be in danger and Siannodel is on brink of war an old friend back in the days of Lensia will strike here we must be prepared for when the time comes to defend these lands ‘’ his voice was calm as he stood there staring at her he wondered if perhaps he may have over stepped his power with the time and space ‘’ Followed by those events I will be framed and exiled we must not let this happen he must go into hiding ‘’ he paused as he gazed at her for the moment; blinking some he finds himself out of his former self’s body as he turns into almost what appears to be in a ghostly image of himself as he watched the rest of the scene fold as he turned to regard Locke for the moment with a nod of his head in acknowledgement

The disguised dragon's eyes rounded as she caught wind of the shift in the planes and the difference in Cirdan's presence. Her lips pursed a moment as she replied with a curt. "I've noticed there was something odd going on, I did not wish to detract from the continuum, but if change must be mete out, I will aid to the best of my ability old friend. I may not be able to do much, too much change in past events could cause a collapse in the time-streams." Her head lowered in a noble gesture as she noticed the present self withdraw quickly, the warning in the foremost of mind as she spoke in a calm note. "Brother of blood and earth, we must speak of reinforcing the defenses of the city. I have felt changes coming upon us all that I fear may bring discord among our realms in existence. I do not have enough information on hand, but the name of Lensia rings true in the visions I have witnessed." She paused to take a breath, her blue eyes wandering away from the past-Cirdan to gaze at the blade at his hip before lifting once more. "Take care of the blade, it speaks without speaking.."

Eventually Thasrissian managed to convince the palace guards of the importance of being allowed to enter unannounced, and so the dragon continued through the palace till he arrived at the throne room. By that time Thas realized it was to late to prevent Cirdan from making a change. Fortunately he could prevent the annihilation of the time stream in its entirety given the current state of events, and thankfully it was a small change Cirdan had caused to come about. The old kingdom might survive the coming assault given the change though certain events would still occur. As it was now the effect on the time stream would be relatively minimal.

Thas of course would have to continue his part in the past until the time of his departure from the land before the battle took place. For now he would wait for Esmeradin to finish speaking with the past Cirdan then he would continue his part in the past in the same manner as he had done so before. For a moment Thas wondered if she could sense his presence then he smiled knowing she likely wouldn't know what to think of it. Given the nature of his existence and of his lineage she very likely wouldn't know what he was aside from the appearance he took. Neither had he had the chance to tell her in the present day. Perhaps for now that was a convenient blessing in itself. Meanwhile in the present day Thas continued to watch over the area observing the changes as they occurred. Enough of his attention was present that he would be able to converse with those nearby. Though one who had knowledge of what he was doing would recognize the meaning behind the golden eye color he currently had.

The Past Cirdan acknowledged her words with a simple nod in understanding ‘’ I understand and do not fear I have control of the sword ‘’ he assured with a calm as he stood there he paced some as he paused to consider the turn of events something strange had happened to him he felt like himself a few seconds ago and he acknowledged it and he knew one manner of change he must consider doing as he thought about it more with a nod, he turned to regard Locke for the moment ‘’ What of you sir I have always considered you a friend will your kingdom as well become allied with us and open trade routes between the cities ‘’ he spoke calmly as he played out the scenario ‘’ Will you protect the Kingdom for when the time comes for war, you and I both know if war comes to Siannodel it will not only affect Siannodel, but the neighbors as well ‘’ he said rather bluntly and as a matter of factly as he regarded them both ‘ This is a manner we must take into consideration the flow of time is a curious thing and I know what I am doing.. Siannodel falls Avalon and Tal’mira surely will fall weather you like to admit it or not ‘’ he paused as he spoke for the time being ‘’ Our futures depend on it and we are intertwined to each other our destiny’s and fate are one in the same and deep down you know this to be true we can’t let Siannodel fall we must warn the others the council as well of the treachery we will soon face upon our former associates if you aid me not only we will save Siannodel but perhaps both your Kingdoms as well ‘’ there was confidence in his voice the future Cirdan possessed him once again as he stood there his posture change as he awaited for word he knew he would have a lot of convincing to do. ‘’ Are you prepared to do your duties and to change the course of history and our future ‘’ he added ever so calmly

Esmeradin glanced at Thas, a knowing smile curling at her lips. Oh yes, she understood all too well. Playing her part, she spoke up again before giving a curtsey to Cirdan. "I will bring all that I can, but I fear I may be the only magi in the battlefield if it comes to that, my friend. If my skills needed, I will do as I must, but my kingdom has long been hidden away. Perhaps this coming change will bring the people back from cowering to the forefront once more. After all, it is a rare thing indeed, to see ones own leader taking up the chainmail and staff to protect their people and their legacy."

Her eyes flicked back to Thas once more, narrowing briefly as she let go the guiding hand of her past-self. Recognization flaring in those gemtoned hues as she murmured in a low note. "Locke? Good heavens..where the hell have you been?"

Thasrissian regarded his old friend for a moment giving a smile of recognition and perhaps even of knowing. "So even she can step into the past..." The dragon thought for a moment while gesturing to her in the custom of Tai'miran greeting. "I suppose it has been quite some time hasn't it? As for where I have been, you might say I have been everywhere." Thas said giving a subtle wink and one she was sure to have the intended reaction to. It would be obvious to her now that he knew that she realized what he was. It was to go without saying however that she knew his true name. If she had the gift of being able to mentally shift between the future, past, and present like he did why wouldn't she? At some point in time he had told her about what he was. A distant future in a relative sense perhaps.

"Ever graceful as always Esmeradin. How have you and your people been?" He asked stepping forward slightly. Oh how he genuinely hoped she wasn't going to drag him into making the mess worse. Even if he had wanted to change certain things that had happened it would mean sacrificing Tai'mira, a kingdom he would eventually become ruler of in the current time line. There was a reason he had to leave the kingdom of Siannodel once his part there was done. His own adopted people would eventually come under attack around the same time Siannodel would be besieged.

Thasrissian needed to be there at the right moment to turn what would have been the destruction of that kingdom into a victory against the evil threatening it. There was little he could do for Siannodel and still maintain the integrity of the time stream. Thas hoped Esmeradin would understand his role in all of this and not expect him to help in any major way.

Cirdan looked between the two as he crossed his arms in a calm posture ‘’ Perhaps with the time flowing the way it is we can save both Siannodel and Tai’mira? ‘’ he looks at Locke, also who would be known as Thassarain ‘’ If the opportunities presented itself you would not take it, by now you realize that your other self may perhaps already be in Tai’mira to save the kingdom. He paced back and fourth as if in thought he knew the future, he knows of the attacks and he understands what will happen he turns to Locke in the hopes he will follow along with this ‘’ If you had a chance Thassarain and give the opportunities to change how things once were, to rescue those you care for the most wouldn’t you take up the mantle and do the very same? ‘’ He said calmly as he looked between the two, he needed both there support in this for any chance of success upon the on coming war once they agree to it, then all they have to do is prepare the defenses and hopes that they win out the night he waited patiently hoping that they aid him in this mission for him there was much to lose in this gamble he is taking, there was a burden upon him any can see within his eyes about the fall of this kingdom and the loss he had felt and now that there is hope to restore such a fate he attends to do that. Of course he quietly thought the thoughts unsure if either of them could read them to understand fully why he wishes to protect this Kingdom

Given the circumstances, she stepped aside, allowing the pair to speak, taking the moment to consider and weight her options. A crease furrowed her brow as she murmured under breath. "Aye..quite..." letting her voice trail off in the depths of thought. As she stepped away from Thasrissian and Cirdan, she crossed her arms over her waist in a self conscious gesture. -How long ago was it, that the last brood was destroyed...it couldn't have been more than twenty or so years ago..- Her gaze flicked over her shoulder at the pair as she internalized her pondering and joined them once more.

Her soft spoken reply given to Thasrissian first..."I am well...Avalon has drifted back to the mists thankfully. Safe harbor within the old kingdom but it bares no banner or crown over it any longer. I merely protect it's sacred grounds." Her darkened gaze rested upon Cirdan as she directed her reply to his question for both she, and Locke. "I would do whatever it took to safeguard my holdings, and the people living within it. Be it costly of my own life, or that of anothers...though I would be the one to speak first, and strike if all else fails."

Thasrissian sighed shaking his head for a moment. "That is not how things work Cirdan. I can not help you change the past, nothing major anyhow. When it comes time for me to leave here I must do so. The very nature of my being is a singularity through time. Everything I have done in the past I continue to do over and over in their given points in time. Its a complexity that would drive mortals to insanity, however my nature requires I repeat the same actions infinitely until the time in which I cease to exist. Minor alterations are possible because of certain quirks in the time stream but anything major will cause unforeseeable results or complete annihilation of the time stream."

The dragon paused for a moment letting his words settle in then he spoke once more. "The most I can do is tell you of the events that must come about in order to avoid the worst case scenario. First of which is my eventual departure from this kingdom in order to prevent the fall of Tai'mira. Secondly there are key events that happen during the battle that must occur. While these were not exactly a significant factor in the battle they must happen exactly as they did. Certain people will be killed in the conflict and this must be. You will have to fight the battle exactly as it had been. There is one thing that can be changed without causing a catastrophe, don't send any aid to Tai'mira before the siege of Siannodel. Instead those people whom were to be sent should be placed in a stockade. You'll learn the reason for this afterwards and understand why I had to leave soon."

Once he had finished speaking Thasrissian stepped back lowering his head slightly. "I can not help any further in this. However there is a chance this will work out in your favor. You could say the odds are even now. No guarantees that anything will be changed significantly but Siannodel might survive into the future. As for you Esmeradin do what you can to aid these people in their coming struggle in this time. I ask that you venture to this place again further ahead in time, I'll need your help to release Cirdan from the anomaly that allowed for this to even be possible. Otherwise he will be stuck in this past and be forced to relive it all... Exactly the way it happened."

There was clearly a hint of disappointment on Cirdan’s face as he stood there in silence listening to what Locke had to say and he gives a curt of a nod he should of guessed he would not help. He considered enlisting some aid through magical means, and using sorcery which he had knowledge on he turned away from them as he considered his options he even wondered what happen if he used his powers during this time period, he dared not risk it. He turned sitting upon his chair as he stared upon the two for the moment thinking of what to do next he knew in several days the first wave of attack he motioned to a guard who walked towards them and with a bow ‘’ You have requested of me my lord ‘’ the captain said calmly ‘’ send word to the others we are not to aid Tai’mira upon there struggles ‘’ the captain looked confused for the moment apparently not knowing what is going on upon the current struggles.

All he knew something major was going on at this moment ‘’ Aye my lord I shall send word to not go, but they are our allies are we not to protect them as well? ‘’ He questioned Cirdan’s motives behind this as he turned to regard the other two ‘’ Very well Sir I shall go on my way and relay the message, so what shall we do? ‘’ He said to him Cirdan looked at him ‘’ secure the outer perimeters of the kingdom and the areas that are most vulnerable to attacks. ‘’ he commanded his captain ‘’ Oh and one more thing alert the kingdom of the war, and open escape routes if possible for those who cannot aid in this struggle the women and children mostly, he turned to regard Thassarain ‘’ So where will you expect the first siege to begin and what must I do to ensure I get out of this alive and out of the time loop that im stuck in. ‘’ as the captain departed; Cirdan hoping this fight will be won.

He turns to Esmerdain at the time ‘’ we will be sending the civilians through escape routes and we could use your old kingdom as a place of sanctuary I hope you will allow us to send them there for the time being, the last they expect them to travel and be ‘’ he turns to regard her in hopes she agree with the idea

Quirking a brow briefly, the past-Esme gave a slight nod in agreement. "A most fesiable decision, Cir. I would hope that the ley portals remain standing? They should be well guarded in the tower cellar, last I remembered using them, that was where I came through.." Her eyes flicked to the captain's back a moment as she lowered her voice. "Cir...some may not understand what you mean by 'this time', try to be watchful of that." The captain had already strode away but the odd look he gave Cirdan gave question of the weird nature of Cirdan's orders.

Kaline stretched her wings out as the wind carried her, slipping into draconian form in mid flight a smile parted her lips as the rows of teeth flashed in the sun light. Rolling her shoulders as she looked down and seen that Stormbringer was securely attached to her hind leg. The belt that it was attached to was made by her, so that it would slide back up to her waist as she changed forms. Taking a deep breath of air as she played on the jet streams of air.

Coming to a halt almost in mid-air as she felt something odd and looked around. As her hues glanced over the ground below her, the realization that she was over the ruins of Siannodel. Taking a deep breath as she lowered herself down to the outer ruins and landed on the wall that was already crumbling. It creaked and whined under her weight as she snarled down at it and remained there as it stopped making noise.

Looking over the ruins as she took a deep breath and sorrow seemed to fill her heart as she looked over the once beautiful kingdom. Hearing a familiar voice as her hues slide up to Cirdan, then all of a sudden a rush of noise and change in scenary rushed over it. Blinking a bit as she looked around and the kingdom was back to what it was. Busy, noisy and full of people. Hearing Cirdan speak to them as she shook her head roughly as the scenary changed back to the ruins. Looking around as confusion took over as a low rumble sounded in her chest of annoyance. Letting it wash back over her, as she listened and then noticed the bond that Cirdan had formed with Oona was different. Snarling as she looked around for the little thing, and then relaxed as she didn't feel her.

Leaping off the wall, she landed on two feet as her still messed up human like form stood where once the great black dragon had been. Letting out a short huff as she pulled her snow white locks back into a pony tail with a leather thong. The black tattoo like marks swirled and moved like a living thing. Putting her hand on the hilt of the bastard sword that caused a lot of the problems. Her lip twitched a bit as she shot a glare down the blade. Rolling her shoulders once more as the large blackened wings hung and shifted into a comfortable position. Walking forward as she entered into the throne room and looked at the two others that resided with Cirdan. Taking a deep breath as she remained in the shadows, watching to see what exactly was transpiring and why she was having these awful flash backs.

In the past it might seem a momentary lapse of concentration to those gathered near and perhaps in a sense it was at least concerning the past. Meanwhile in the present the colossal gray dragon shifted his gaze from Cirdan, searching for the new arrival. Thasrissian sensed the presence of Stormbringer, a blade he was all too familiar with. His golden hued eyes narrowed for a moment as he wondered what further complication was bound to happen with Cirdan's current state of affairs. He had already born witness to a small change in the time line as Cirdan's chosen to wed had slowly faded from it. Thasrissian had noticed Cirdan still retained the gift that had been given to him by her. Perhaps something to do with the temporal anomaly he currently found himself trapped inside.

Every now and then Thasrissian had kicked up a bit of dust into the air watching most of it fall over the boundary of the anomaly and remain suspended in the air. Once Cirdan found himself released from the anomaly all that dust and dirt. The dragon had chuckled to himself at the thought earlier and perhaps it was a fitting reward to Cirdan for all the trouble he was causing the gray dragon in the past. Thasrissian wished there was something he could do to help but it wasn't his place to make changes to the past and he had done what he honestly could do. It would be up to Cirdan to bring about the changes he wanted. The dragon would only interfere where the change would bring about an annihilation of the time stream.

Hopefully Esmeradin had understood his request for help there in the past. For all his power was worth he wouldn't be able to break Cirdan free of the anomaly without the aid of someone as powerful as himself. In the meantime Thasrissian slowly formed a barrier ward around himself and the anomaly Cirdan was trapped inside both to contain the anomaly and prevent it from growing and perhaps to keep others from stumbling into it unaware even with the dirt he had kicked up into it.

Befuddlement crossed her expression as the sense of *two* sentient swords was felt, her gaze lifted for a moment to peer at what wavered through the shadow of the past, and into the present. Her brows furrowed sharply as she muttered to Locke.."This might be a wee-bit over our heads, my silvery friend..." Loosing a sharp sneeze, her head jerking forward as she catches herself from losing her balance and covered her nose to rub at it. "Hng...stop playing around damnit..." The present Esme clearly was impatient, and the dust did little to ease the wear on her nerves. The past Esme however kept her gaze turned upwards, flickering as if some strange imagery overlaying the present. "Something very strange is going on around here..."

For once, Esmeradin hadn't the slightest clue what to do, short of grasping for straws to escape to the present. She had seen enough torment in her time, and witnessing Cirdan reliving the fall of his kingdm struck a mourning chord in her empathic heart. All at once, she sputtered, her head turning to stare at Locke and let spill in draconic. "You have to do something, I can't handle something like this...it's way out of my scale of tampering."

Cirdan looked at Esmerdain ‘’ I’ll send some wizards there to power them open they be able to secure it well enough and several soldiers as well to protect them as there doing there spell casting ‘’ he paused as he considered he felt another presence then someone he know all his life and someone he still very much loved could it be Kaline?

He thought to himself as he sat down sweat pouring down, the sword in his right sheath vibrated against his side recognizing the change and who it is that entered within the time line of the past, and left soon after. He looked at Esmerdain for the moment pale in the face as if something happened he was unsure of with the time shift going through time, excusing himself he moved towards the window as he over looked the kingdoms flashes of the ruins crossing his mind and figures around him from the future and as he looked over the harbor he noted movements out in the sea and he knew soon the time will come to defend the harbor, he watched as his men prepared the defenses for the harbor gates.

Turning around he looked at his friends ‘’ it has begun ‘’ as he stated it as a matter of factly, with a wave of his hands he sent his wizards to the ley line portals and civilians soon entered into the palace walking towards the gate escaping with there lives, as some went to grab weapons to help defend the kingdom as it seems to be happening so very fast as they begin to pour into it carrying supplies that they need to survive this night, Cirdan dared not draw out his sword he only watched as the battle took place trusting in the people that wants to defend this place.

He turned to regard the scene before him he knew what he had to do deep down inside his own heart, this is the moment he has been waiting for, he pulls out the necklace Esmerdain gave him as a gift long ago, she would know this chain well as he grasps his necklace as he closed his eyes in concentration. His mind swirled with thoughts emotions he wished for the attackers to stop the advancement and for Siannodel to restore to what it once was. He thought of his allies and all those he loves and cares for upon this necklace and how he would give his life to free them all at this very moment, everything seems to have conjured all at once for this one moment his reputation meant little right now he holds out his hands as he opens his eyes as they seem to flare to life he thought of the advancing army not only in his kingdom but in Tai’mira as well he has his mind focused on all three of these events and he thought of the power he once held, his mind focused at this moment also focusing on pulling himself out of this transition of the past hoping when he will wake up he will be back in the palace of Siannodel restored once more.. he wanted out of this time frame

Kaline took a step back as she felt the sets of eyes on her, her brows furrowed even deeper as she was trying to figure out why the visions keep flashing before her and who are the two people near Cirdan. Her hand tightened on the hilt of Stormbringer as it start to vibrate and hum, as soon as her hand tightened around it. The tendrils that are covered her body seemed to snake down off her fingers onto the blade. Calming it into a silent raging storm that waited to be released. Growling down at the blade, as her hand never loosened on the hilt.

Her hues searched over Cirdan as she whispered softly," Be safe and may the goddess guide you back home." It was something Cirdan always told her before she took off to explore or to just take a break. Why those words just came to her out of the blue. Lifting her fingers to her lips as she blinked softly and just took another step back as she lowered her head slightly to Thassarian as well as to Esme. Taking a deep breath as she was hoping to get an explanation but simply waited within the shadows. Waiting for Cirdan to come and tell her what happened and why the bond was different.

For a few moments Thasrissian lowered his head towards Esme closing his golden hued eyes. If the expression on the face of the timeless gray dragon could have been read it would have been recognized as an acceptance of something dire. Thas breathed in for a moment before lifting his head and opening his eyes which had shifted in color taking a brilliant silvery white hue. It was at that point something began to occur within the anomaly and through Thas's own power around it as well. Whatever it was that he was doing seemed to be attracting a large concentration of storm clouds overhead. Eventually the entire sky was clouded over blocking out the sunlight that been falling over the ruined city landscape moments ago.

At first the clouds seemed to simply gather there, then rain began pouring over the area, followed by a fierce electrical storm. This storm was certainly magical in nature and continually struck the ground with arcs of energy. Thasrissian began chanting words of warding for those nearby save for Cirdan and himself, forming protective barriers of magic around them. Cirdan would be protected by the anomaly and as for himself there was an accepted risk. "Both of you ensure Cirdan has rest and recovers from his ordeal. No matter what occurs now just ensure he recovers..."

Soon after he finished speaking Thasrissian lifted himself up into the air a few feet from the ground, hovering there as he began to chant words in draconic for some sort of spell. Thas continued this for several seconds then suddenly the arcs of lightning converged and struck him only to be channeled down towards the anomaly that held Cirdan trapped in the past. With that the scenery around them began to shift slowly between the familiar image almost forgotten to the passage of time and that of the present day. The first seeming to gradually replace the latter. During all of this Thasrissian was held suspended in the air roaring in pain and perhaps a bit of triumph hidden in it somewhere.

Only after the scenery of the past became the present did the anomaly that had held Cirdan begin to shatter and when it did the resulting backlash of energy surged out towards Thasrissian whom then vanished in a violent burst of light leaving behind a blurred afterimage where he had been which lasted for a few minutes before fading. Cirdan was likely left unharmed by what occurred and those whom Thasrissian had shielded likely would be as well. As for the gray dragon however it seemed as though he had paid the cost required to free Tallendon's emperor from the past and set things as they were always intended to be.

Somewhere nearby there would be another violent blast of light as the storm overhead struck the ground with another arc and soon faded into nothing. It was in this spot that Thasrissian's battered form appeared, slumped to the ground, and near motionless...

In that shattering of light, from the darkened sky, a flicker of a dormant power stirred in the eyes of Esmeradin. Brilliant blue shades flicked up to watch Thasrissian a moment before she darted forward and grasped for the fallen form of Cirdan and dragged him back from the once-ruined throne-room. Around them, the castle responded to the magic with a ripple, ruins fading and re-solidifying as whole walls, ceilings and arches. From where Thasrissian lay, expanded the wash of brightened hues, and changing fixtures that soon reassembled into the former palace. Esme could do nothing but keep the collapsed form of Cirdan safe from crumbling ruined ceilings that reshaped into what they formerly were in times of old, her eyes wide with wonder, having never witnessed this sort of power in her long life.

OOC-Kaline:(Don't worry dear, you have not been forgotten, tis the first of hopefully many encounters with the old wise dragon.)
