Rosaria was born on a crisp morning about twelve seconds after her own sister, Rosalyn. Growing up, the two sisters were nearly inseparable. Going everywhere and doing everything. It wasn't until Rosalyn went away to study the arcane ways of magic, that Rosaria thought it wasn't fair at that time. Rosaria eventually got interested in divine magic that doors started to open up. Practicing everyday and night, her skills was increasingly getting better. She climbed up the ladder in rankings for the clergy. After about five years, she decided to travel and do good. One day, she came across a female that looked familiar. It was her sister, but not. Rosalyn was scared up and didn't really resemble what she used to look like. Years of failed arcane magic leaving her face to pay the price and probably the rest of her body. Rosalyn's scorn was so bad, that she didn't care if her sister could be of some use with regaining her beauty, that was lost. She wanted revenge for her own mistakes and took it out on Rosaria.
It wasn't until Rosaria herself, drew her sword in an act of self-defense, that she struck Rosalyn killing her in one blow. Months and nearly a year gone by where she finally came to terms with what she'd done. She went to the nearest temple and prayed. Prayed for forgiveness from her deity. Forgiveness was given and she went on her way. A letter was written to her parents giving them details on what happened and that she will send word again on her whereabouts at another time. For now though, she just wonders around gaining knowledge and trying to forget her past.
While wondering around, she came to robust town of Tallendon. Upon meeting a man called Lazuli, she was granted a home as well as an apothecary and healing clinic. It wouldn't be long before meeting another man by the name of Lyo, who showed her around the forests and how dangerous those forests can be. Years went by and finally another man came into her life, Kado. She gave her trust over to the man within a few weeks. It was within those few weeks that a battle ensued between her sister's controlled body, the puppeteer, and herself. It was a hair rising battle, between spells and weapons which resulted in a deep gash, at that time, on her left upper arm. It was the last spell that drove her over the edge, making her pass out and giving her more spells than she had before. The puppeteer disappeared as well as her sister's controlled body. With the help of Kado, since the spells destroyed a good portion of her own home, she was able to return back to her normal work and her newly reconstructed home. It was shortly after that, she heard the news of her parents both passed from old age. Though, she knows it was probably cause they feared that both of the daughters were dead , she looked now towards the only two things in her life, Kado and the healing clinic.
Kado left eventually, as he needed to deal with his family. It was hard on Rosaria as her world was thrown in a downward spiral of depression. It wasn't until a man named Nox came into her life and months went by. She was dragged out of the depression and finally living happily. He too would be called back to his Kingdom on family business just as they were going to get married. Just the same as Kado. It was during one day, that a stranger (to her) appeared well worn and badly injured to the clinic door. There, she healed what she could with the little strength she had. Lyo was there too as he felt the urgency in his long time friend. IT was then that she tried to take her own life. It wasn't by her own hand, but by her deities. She died but only for a moment or two. Bringing her back to life, the deity gave her new hope and meaning. Reborn into a more compassionate and gentle being, she realized that Nox was at the door and that his own transformation saved his life as well.
Sooner or later, Nox disappeared once more. Something about having to rescue his mother from the clenches of death. After a few days, a few knocks were on her door as a beautiful woman stood before her. She introduced herself as Victoria and Selene. That there was two souls placed in one body. That she would help Rosaria prepare for the battle to ensue between the puppeteer and herself. She knew of the puppeteer since Nox left the first time. He bugged and drove her into that spiral. Haunted every fiber of her being. The female created a space below the clinic with wards of protection of the ground from spells and other damaging attacks. For the next week or so, this is where Rosie would be. It wasn't until being awakened and brought down into that basements of sorts, that Rosie saw Victoria/Selene's true intentions. Thinking that she was the one that broke Kado's and Nox's hearts, the female launched an assault against Rosie. In a latch ditch effort, Rosie put forth all of her energy as well as some energy from her deity and blasted an implosion spell towards Victoria/Selene. It missed and hit the wall of the basement causing the clinic to implode. Victoria/Selene managed to get out fine and Rosaria was trapped under the rubble. Shattered pelvis and legs, she survived but it will be a bit before she will walk and be able to fight the puppeteer... but on a side note, the puppeteer did have some heart, or at least wanted to see what powers Rosie possessed and decided to wait.
It wasn't until after Nox left and when Victoria was around, that she realized how much she cared for Lyo. She hopes that one day, both of them will be happy, and hopefully together. Just have to see if she will make it through the next few major battles of her life.
The fight with the Puppeteer, or James Rothschild, really came down to blows between Lyo and himself. In the end, it was James' fault that caused his death. The remnants of the fight was nothing but a few dead bodies, injured people as well. Lyo was no where to be found. Also there was the issue with her memories. Especially those wrapped around really strong emotions, those were gone. It was like a thick fog in her mind. So for now, she starts to rebuild her life and her clinic to the way that she would like it, as well as, what is convenient for the townspeople.
The magic is listed from level one to level nine. One being the lowest and less taxing and nine being the highest and very draining on Rosaria.
